Only spoiler I have had was joffs death - learned via Twitch aids about 6 hours before the episode aired. I have been avoiding twitch during the season just to avoid that. Its been hard out here for a nonreader.

Twitch chat is the black hole where human intelligence comes to die.

Ive had Rob and Joff spoiled for me in twitch chat. Now as soon as i see someone mention GoT in a stream or chat i insta close it because thats usually the trigger for spoilers to come charging in. That obv only works in the off season since when its airing, the azzhole clowns are out to get you wherever you are and without any warnings.

I've only had the Red Wedding semi-spoiled after seeing the reaction stuff and FB comments, but all I knew was something shocking was going to happen (in GoT it's pretty likely what this will be), and probably around a wedding.

I spent all the previous (?) episode during the Tyrion/Sansa wedding on the edge of my seat, then wondering if that was it.

Call them out, make sure they know they hurt you.

Well as she's one of these people who has a stupid Facebook thing letting everyone know what books she's currently reading, I think I have a better plan...

The reason that we have seasons is not because the tilt changes, it's because it doesn't change. As we go around the sun, we alternate between the north and south poles pointing towards the sun. During spring and fall, neither pole is tilted toward the sun.

I could see a planetary system behaving something like the one on GOT if it was some kind of complex multiple star system with intricately balanced orbits. I'm pretty sure GRRMs take on it is "**** it... magic." though.
I'm thinking they probably have no axial tilt and their variable seasons are caused by unpredictable output fluctuations from their sun.

Also I was wondering in the trial by combat is there any way Tyrion can claim a retrial or draw if the mountain dies as a result of wounds sustained in the fight? I know we see him being experimented on so its unlikely he doesn't survive I was just wondering if both men died what would the verdict be?
She laughs because of the incredible effort the hound has gone to to sell her to her family being foiled once again.

In the trial by combat it doesn't matter what happens to the mountain, only whether the accused's champion lives or dies. It's not about winning or losing, per se, it's about what the gods indicate about the guilt/innocence of the accused. And I think, in this case, it was about the most obvious divine intervention verdict you could ever have

HBO is releasing a Game of Thrones “movie” into IMAX theaters later this month comprised of the final two episodes of the show’s fourth season. If that weren’t enough to excite fans, the screening will also include an exclusive trailer for the upcoming season. Thrones will air in 150 IMAX theaters for one week beginning Jan. 23. According to IMAX, this will mark the first time a TV series has been showcased in the format.

It will be the first television show to do so, and very likely the most epic one to boot: Game of Thrones‘ final two episodes of season four will be broadcast on the IMAX big screens this month — because winter doesn’t discriminate. (It only comes! At incredibly inconvenient times, as it were.) And not only that, but with the screenings comes a brand spankin’ new sneak peek trailer for the forthcoming season five. Oh snap, crackle, AND pop!

It’s a lot to take in, but stay with us if you can. For one week only, starting January 23, 2015, Westeros and all of the known Realm will get purposefully too big for its britches, remastered for the 150 big-big-big screens slated to air the final two episodes — “Watchers on the Wall” and “The Children.” It will be, in a word, awesome

There's a new trailer out! Low quality (cam) but still epic.

Trailer!

Spoilers are obviously in the trailer.

The GoT trailers are almost better than the real thing. Always builds up so much hype.
