Exact same thing happened to me today. Also approached by a Latvian backer except he pretended to be friends with Bertulsons instead of BBZ. Went by Jackstake on skype and Jakub Mcartny as his name. Also requested that i transfer him money on skrill first in order to ensure that the fees for sending me a bankroll to play on stars would be paid. Offer was similar to the one in the gyazo photo, 350 euro weekly salary with mtts 11-215$ allowed. He spent over an hour talking to me without asking for any money so it actually seemed potentially legitimate and that he was just a wealthy backer giving out lucrative deals but once he requested that i transfer money to pay him a fee to receive the money on skrill thats when it stopped making sense as you can pay all the fees on your own whenever you send someone money so I of course refused to send him any money. He was also from Latvia, except his English was relatively good though.

I should have been more specific in my post, apologies... A guy that got scammed showed me a convo he had with jekab and his English (writing) was terrible.

Mindcrushers on 888
rangersfan46 on stars
acesnkings on 888 also
nathan.irvine4 on skype

These users I believe are all the same person and I am currently banned off 888 because of him. I play on 888 as MR_LITHUANIA. Reasons why I am banned and why I believe these users are all the same person can be explained here in this 2p2 post. Please scroll down slightly to see my entry to the thread.

In a nutshell it appears this person has attempted to do a stars>888 trade with me with some dirty 888 money. Please see the above post for detailed information and also skype screenshots of the whole saga.

I am pretty sure he is currently looking with this ad as 2+2 user "ramlosa":

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/13...stake-1450872/

We staked him a while back and he actually made a winning start. I then got tipped of that he was using old/doctored graphs/stats in his applications and also something was super shady with the one specific testimonial he made us contact.
So we decided to play it safe and end it.
I was then also put in contact with one former staking academy of his. Their review could not have been more negative!
I encouraged them to post here as I did not feel it was my place at the time.

We were later contacted two more times by him in very bizarre and desperate fashion. He was very persistent until we finally blocked him.

Another stunt he loves to use is early in negotiations claiming that he "needs a couple of days to think about it as he has 5 offers on the table to choose from". He will then come back and flatter you how he has a good feeling about working with you and even passes on a slightly better deal blah blah to build trust I guess.

Summary: While we personally did not incur any damage there were plenty of red flags!!

Hey, I guess it's time for me to post here after a long time trying to get my money back that two people owes me. It's only a total of $160 but money is money.

First guy:

Pokerstars - HeliocastTCG http://pokerprolabs.com/heliocasttcg/pokerstars
Fulltilt - stackcitybiatch

2+2 - HeliocastTCG, TheRoadTo1Mil

He cashed over $1k three times on Pokerstars after he owed me the money. Still no money. And he talks about "respect him" and bragging about $5k paychecks every month. Pathetic

http://i.imgur.com/Jvrsh51.png

http://i.imgur.com/xtZd74E.png

**UPDATE** Issue is resolved. He's (HeliocastTCG) paid back $70, June 2019 after dispute November 2014.

Second guy: Scotty

Pokerstars - lastcardmud http://pokerprolabs.com/lastcardmud/pokerstars

2+2 - lastcardmud
Skype - scotty.g9

http://i.imgur.com/zQ1Fqhc.png

http://i.imgur.com/DY0MJmi.png

No more personal information about this guy.

Both deals was made by them and I just accepted them for the great price I was getting. HeliocastTCG was in a skypegroup and asked for someone to stake/loand during the last MM event on Pokerstars so in November 2014. Just stay away from these two.

Pokerstars - dscturrr
Skype - goji-boji
Country - Bulgaria
Birth date - Oct 14 1991

dscturrr played for us "Game On Staking" for 9 months. He had $3500 allocated to BR and MU. On the 15 Feb 2015 he asked for another reload. I told him we were going to try sell him and he should return the remaining $280 BR to our Neteller along with a player audit from pokerstars.

We have reason to believe he was stealing from the bankroll throughout the stake due to inconsistencies with sharkscope and his daily updates. This is something that we cannot document as fact and since sharkscope has statistical difficulties tracking rebuy games correctly this is merely speculation - even though we're relatively certain this is indeed accurate.

Furthermore, he continuesly neglected to provide sufficient audits even though he was repeatedly asked to do so.

Last night he replied and made it quite clear that he wasn't sending our money back. He thinks that he deserves the money cause he made us profit in the past...

[12:04:36 AM] Darren (Mr S 212) Rudolph: ok, so why do u feel u deserve the remaining $280 after u lost $3.2k of our money?
[12:05:45 AM] dscturrr: Moneywise, you'have profited on my behalf, so cant really put that against me and as i simply said u cant expect anything else at that point

Warning scammer.. do not stake dscturrr

I expect the guy offering the good deals pretending to be part of another site and asking for skrill payments is the same guy who tried to scam using our site "sngmentors" using the skype "germanystaking" a few months ago. He was saying he was bertulson, who isn't even related to our site. Seems he keeps changing his skype but the scam is always the same.

Also any backer is going to have over 14 contacts. I probably have over 400.

We staked Niko for a long time, at first everything was very good. He won the micro million ME for 100k. Then after that he thought he could be every and any game just because he associated with live pros. He ran up 30k in MU and then basically refused to play. It was one excused after another going on a year. Too much school, bad laptop, traveling, playing live etc. Finally last June or so he said he would come back and grind off the MU. I am not sure how many games he played but not many. I am pretty sure he is now looking for staking on German forums as I see him posting on FB about live events and hear from friends also on those forums.

I would avoid him or stake him at your own peril, he has no allegiances and is only out for himself.

Mod Note: Removed the facebook and real life name for now until Rhonin's reply is addressed.

We were staking him when he won the Ftops ME, earlier that day he asked if he could play the Sunday Million, I said yes to the SM. He never asked about the Ftops ME. I will agree that there was some miscommunication on both parts, but in our contracts 100% of games played are for us unless asked first. He owed about 12k worth of MU, the very least he could have done was paid this off or a portion of it off. He chose to take the money and run.

I picked up "rullzzzro23" player to play micros. After sending him a $75 reload, he disappeared for ~ a week. This aroused suspicions and I started digging into him a bit more, talking to his previous backer along with the BBZ group (H0ldit) who had rejected his application because rullzzzro23 admitted to playing on multiple accounts. This is a warning about both the rullzzzro23 account and andrakitty account, since they are clearly linked. There's probably a third account which is accessed by the same individual that I haven't been able to track down.

Convo with Ownage Group:

[1:01:11 PM] Ownage Poker Group: hi
[1:01:26 PM] Toronexti: I asked silviu about Rullzzzro23 about 2 weeks ago

[1:04:18 PM] Ownage Poker Group: untrusted
[1:04:39 PM] Toronexti: so his PS name is ok but his skype name is untrusted?
[1:05:01 PM | Edited 1:05:15 PM] Ownage Poker Group: no this guy bai3tzasu is untrusted

[1:13:11 PM] Toronexti: ok.
[1:13:27 PM] Toronexti: how do you trust one account but not the other one if they're rooming together?
[1:14:07 PM] Ownage Poker Group: becouse adrian ( skype baie3tzasu ) was recomended by rullzzz23
[1:14:21 PM] Ownage Poker Group: before rullzzz23 finish his deal

[1:15:24 PM] Ownage Poker Group: when he come back, tell me that he was in africa
[1:15:42 PM] Ownage Poker Group: i ask him for the rest of money he tell me that he send me, but disapeared

What rullzzzro23 / andrakitty said to H0ldit:

[2:20:28 PM] Adrian Coltis: ok so I made an account on my name , the thing like I said is : it's not a problem for me to be having a new account , the problem is that I can't look for stake with a new account with no graphics to back my winnings. so i would be in your dept if we can work something out I could deposit some tomorrow on my new account.. and play a bit if that is an issue but after that would you still consider my graphs from rullzzzro23 that I used so many years? staking is a serious thing and i want to make it right

I probably wouldn't even care about you posting this ONE MONTH after you told me you dropped me, but you even posted my real name which is a no-go for players from Germany and a few other states for obvious reasons. Not sure about your reasons for this timing, maybe it's because I just a succesful live trip and you still have so much blind hate towards me. I haven't done/played too much online after you dropped me. Basically the TCOOP and then some, just like we talked about with Vers, when he made clear I am dropped now due to low volume. I sent back the 4-figure bankroll which I had in my account balance on stars and that was it. Stakers drop stakees for w/e reasons all the time. It was within their right by contract and I would be lying if I said I was unhappy about that.

It's ridiculously amusing to me how you talk about me building that MU by clicking w/e I like as if you don't make all your horses post an Audit after every single session. You coulda stopped this yourself, 30k doesnt come over night, even on midstakes+.
Around the 30k mu mark though, I was finally supposed to lower my ABI drastically and grind it out on the low stakes, which seemed absurd to me but I promised to do that, there is no denying in that. Truth is, I was only motivated for short terms and I've never was, and never will be a full-time grinder as I'm a full-time student, going into full-time work in the near future (I had some months off just when I started my staking deal with them as I switched from law school to business school at that time and had to wait a few months for it to begin).

Just to make sure this **** gets deleted and my name is not out here anymore, I'll post the chatlogs:

[20.01.2015 18:51:33] Niko / RhoNin9: [17.10.2014 01:12:05] Manhat10ite: If you have a balance in your account, please send it to Vers.
[18:44:14] Niko / RhoNin9: just seeing this now lol. yeah i must have some, would need to make another tournament parser rail for the last 2-3 sessions back then which i didnt post yet. to make sure how much it is.

i was actually gonna ask if i was dropped without notification, DJ said i was and I dont have full forum access on the site
[18:45:05] Manhat10ite: Just do it manually or ask Vers
[18:45:29] Niko / RhoNin9: so i got dropped?
[18:45:41] Niko / RhoNin9: ill ship the money back regardless obv
[18:46:15] Manhat10ite: You ran off, disappeared.
[18:46:30] Niko / RhoNin9: you have my facebook lol
[18:46:49] Niko / RhoNin9: i dont log on to skype much unless im playing
[18:47:15] Manhat10ite: Talk to Vers, I have no patience for this today.
[18:47:21] Niko / RhoNin9: alright
[20.01.2015 18:52:27] Mike "vers" McFadgen: ya whatever you have, send it to me.
[20.01.2015 18:53:28] Niko / RhoNin9: aight ima try to figure out how mcuh it is
[20.01.2015 18:53:39] Niko / RhoNin9: so as for the staking part? am i dropped or what
[20.01.2015 18:53:46] Niko / RhoNin9: just in case ill be cliicking some tcoop events

[20.01.2015 18:54:51] Mike "vers" McFadgen: and I don't know how we can continue with such small volume.
[20.01.2015 18:55:08] Niko / RhoNin9: yeah volume is not gonna go up, have too much work to get done
[20.01.2015 18:55:31] Niko / RhoNin9: if i play its midstakes MTTs or higher during series like tcoop
[20.01.2015 18:55:36] Niko / RhoNin9: thats why i need to know
[20.01.2015 18:55:39] Mike "vers" McFadgen: yah that doesnt work for us at all
[20.01.2015 18:56:03] Mike "vers" McFadgen: I don't want to put a player in midstakes series when they aren't playing the rest of the time. Makes no sense for us to take that risk and your game may have gotten worse.
[20.01.2015 18:56:30] Niko / RhoNin9: so from now on if i play ill have my own action?
[20.01.2015 18:56:55] Mike "vers" McFadgen: yah we don't want to stake you and it's been months since you played anything
[20.01.2015 18:57:23] Niko / RhoNin9: alright then, guess its a very sad ending to an overachieving start
[20.01.2015 18:57:29] Niko / RhoNin9: ill do the rail posts right now
[20.01.2015 18:57:36] Niko / RhoNin9: send to your stars account then?

[20.01.2015 19:04:32] Niko / RhoNin9: cant get my TP to put out a rail
[20.01.2015 19:04:37] Niko / RhoNin9: it autocloses when i post one

[20.01.2015 19:47:31] Mike "vers" McFadgen: ok thanks
[20.01.2015 19:55:34] Niko / RhoNin9: alright, i know ive had a lof of difficulties with michael but i thought the two of us here always got along well and i wanted to thank you for the opportunity you guys gave me back then. its unfortunate i have to leave so much MU behind and im aware what a sour taste it must be for you. given that i dont have much time for online poker anymore i guess its in both our interest to close that chapter, i estimate even considering that MU-loss you must be up roughly 25k with me still which hopefully makes it a little easier to swallow.

good luck for you and your horses in the future
[20.01.2015 19:58:10] Mike "vers" McFadgen: yah around 25k. Just really crappy you got off to a great start, built a ton of MU and stopped playing more or less. Doesn't give up much choice. I got the money. thanks.

It was really a pain in the ass talking to Manhat10ite in the last conversations we had as he genuinely despites me. I thought I got it all cleared up with Vers (his business partner) though, who has always been rational and who I can't say one bad word about.

To cut a long story short: I've always paid up money when I cashed/binked/whatever. That goes for live and online. SNGMentors were the only longterm stakers I had for longer than two-three months. My other two longterm stakers were Colin James and ottocat01 back in 2013, both deals ended on good terms.
Aside from that I usually sell shares of my live events or high stakes online mtts during a series. 90% of that goes via Skype, and the rest either on pokerstrategy.de or here (think i sold like 2-4 times here).

I therefor ask the 2p2 admins to remove this post permanently. This is ridiculous.

Rhonin9 you even say it yourself ...

"I was finally supposed to lower my ABI drastically and grind it out on the low stakes"

"I promised to do that"

You didn't do it, you gave up on the stake by not playing. Thats breaking your word and what you promised to do. How could anyone do business with a person like you?

You put Vers in a situation where he has to end the deal because you are no longer trustworthy and do what you say you can do. I can only speculate but I imagine that was your intention too and now you are trying to pass it off like they dropped you for some other reason. His name should be back in here like the rest of these delinquents.

He owed about 12k worth of MU, the very least he could have done was paid this off or a portion of it off. He chose to take the money and run.

Michael and I are restructuring the site and are deciding to drop many players. We feel that the 180s and mtts are far less profitable games and we have to risk too much in order to get a relatively small return. Please send back your remaining roll and the stake will officially be over.
[2/6/2015 10:15:07 PM] Mike "vers" McFadgen: We are trying to negotiate a deal with another backer for your makeup, so please do not look or accept another stake for several days.
[2/9/2015 9:04:23 PM] Mike "vers" McFadgen: please send back the roll.

Played in the limits they said , sent the roll back as they said and now they post this .. ty

Standard roll. Staked player $600 on February 26th. There was no contact via email or Skype and missed two weekly reporting dates. The player received several inquiries about his intentions, but no communication despite him playing during the time period.

Bottomline, do not stake this player.

More details available upon request.

We dropped the player a few weeks ago. He had $866 left in the roll. He refused to send it back and said he had to use the money to move from Slovakia to another country to find work (which we did not agree to). He says he will send back the roll when he can or finds another stake. Be extremely cautious about backing him. Prior to this, he was a good horse and we had no issues. I hope that he resolves this issue and decides not to ruin his reputation.
