-I staked a friend for an online satellite ($109). It was a one time deal 70/30. (He spent $218 total)
-He won the seat for the live event $1160.
-He did not attend the live event.
-How much does he owe me?

That's a difficult one.
If it was me it would depend on the circumstances.
Bearing in mind he is a friend, if something exceptional happened to prevent him from playing i would want $218.
BUT if he was just being a lazy ass fool then 70% of live event cost.
