Was hoping I wouldn't have to do this, but I've had an issue with cubkiller. Stars name is cubkiller89 and that is also his aim. Almost a year ago before I was really active on 2p2 I loaned him $500. The deal was if he won he sends me part of the profits and if he loses he pays me back by the end of 2008. I never hear from the guy again for awhile. I just sigh and write it off as some scammer and don't think about it for awhile other than how dumb I was to loan money to someone I didn't know too much about.

Then in July of this year I see that he is active on 2p2, marketplace approved, and playing poker again, at 100nl. Obviously I'm like wtf. I send him a pm asking about the money and included aim logs of our exact agreement. We talk on July 19th and he says he needs to pay rent and keep BR but he'll pay me $500 by the end of July and another $100 August 10th for "being a jew and not getting back to you" in his words, but essentially scamming me out of that money and taking an interest-free loan for 7 months against my will.

Then in August he never responds to an aim again, but is still active on 2p2. I send him a pm which gets ignored, then I send another one saying if he ignores it I'm outting him on 2p2. That one gets responded to and he tells me he's on a staking deal now withdrew his roll but will send when they chop. Obviously I'm a bit pissed but what can I do? End of the week he finishes up and ships me $300. Then the next chop PTR says he has won a few grand. He says yes he won and can send me the full $200 now. I say you mean $300 right? He says he thought the extra $100 was only for the old payment plan. I ask him if he seriously thinks that just because he ignored that plan and made me wait even longer that he's not going to pay the extra $100? He promises the $100 at the end of the next week.

That week has come and gone, he's ignored my pms and although hasn't posted here in awhile his latest login date is almost always close to current. To this date I have not received the extra $100 and at this point am skeptical I will ever get it, although if I do I will confirm here. He played 50nl HU on pokerstars today and am assuming the stake is up. But if he doesn't have 2 buy-ins to pay off a debt for the stakes he's playing he's either an idiot or just intentionally cheating me. I have no doubt he had good intentions with paying me back as I did get some of it back eventually, but he essentially freerolled me because he needed money to pay rent and didn't want to not play poker. At least I got the money back and that's better than nothing but I would be weary before trusting him to keep his side of an agreement. His main excuse was that he needed money to live but I never agreed to provide him an interest-free loan for money to live and I was taken advantage of. It also turns out that he likely blocked me on aim as he is always offline but a friend of mine has said he's been on and he claimed something was wrong with his aim.

Overall I do not believe his intentions were to scam, but he was generally dishonest with me and avoided me even after we agreed to plans and he thought it was fine to use my money to play poker with. I had to go out of my way just to get the money back and although he agreed to pay an interest/sorry I scammed you fee I have yet to get that and am being ignored again. It has been almost a year since the initial loan. I would not trust him with any financial transactions.

Gave him like 150 to play some HU on UB. He somehow thought it was ok ("standard") that if he won a 5 dollar sng he was allowed to take a shot at a 10 dollar sng. I checked his SS and saw what he was doing and called him out on it then he stopped.


He then said he went busto playing. At first I was too busy so I just took his word for it. I went back and checked and basically he is -$2 from sngs meaning there is no way he went busto.

I checked a bit more and he is stuck $77 playing mtts. I gave him money to play 5husngs only so I dont know why he was playing tornys. There is still like 70 more that is unaccounted for. Here are his stats for UB.

Just spoke to him about it on AIM and he is saying it was roomates or some crap like that. Also I am pretty sure he went busto nearly a month ago. I just spoke to him now and he is saying he went busto two days ago which is bs since the last activity on his account was the 13th October.

Anyway just a warning for anyone thinking of staking him.

I would like to clarify that I have not checked with my roomates yet since they are both sleeping (its midnight here eastern time) and I also mentioned to ISTACKMANZ what his payment plan back to him would like be and he has yet to respond to me via AIM as we did talk about me paying back the stake and having a payment plan.

I really don't appreciate him posting this as I have been as open as I can with him. I have done nothing to make it seem like I am not paying, offering to pay etc, and at least would like my name off the post mods. I can provide all aim logs, etc

I also would like to point out that I do have AIM logs that say if I was up 5-6 5$ sng's that I could play 1 10$ sng and then if I won play another, but if I lost, go back to 5$ sng's til I won another 5.. I have all these AIM logs if needed.

Although this does not involve staking, I would like to point out all the positive transanctions in the market place including a wii for over 300$ that was quickly shipped etc, everything. Again, he has yet to respond to my AIMS about repayment plan that we had mentioned could be done when we first started the stake.

As I stated the poster of it originally asked to have it edited out. That's a fairly routine request. Whether he felt he was being hasty or whatever with the original post I granted the request and am fine with having done so.

I would not have removed say the entire post- or screen names- or maybe even in another instance where it was clear the person was long gone the name itself.

Since no followup has been posted about it I assume it's a done deal, he got paid, etc. I'll bring it up for discussion in the mod forum to see what Bobo, markusgc, and others say, but I can't imagine we'd adopt a blanket policy where we refuse to edit something like that at the accuser's request.

I haven't heard from him for 20 hours regarding what hes able to do regarding this matter.

I've taken the initiative to contact the Visa company and all they can tell me is that theyre having some random system error that seems to only be affecting my card in this forum. Its the sellers responsibility after all to ensure that the customer (that would be me in this case) receives a working product and if there seems to be a mistake, to show continuous effort in resolving the problem. I sent xxxxx (xxxx xxxxx as shown on gmail) an email telling him that either this matter is resolved or I get a refund.

50 Fulltilt dollars didnt just fall out of the sky for me. Im not accusing him of a scam, but it seems hes showing slight indifference. Im not going to wait another day for something that was supposed to happen the day before yesterday.

I basically want the exchange to be reversed. Although I have the non-functioning card number he sent to me, his address and zipcode are apparently needed (to register the card) for me to use the card online (which is all I can do if I dont have the actual card in my hands). He can take his card, and I can get my money back, thats all I want, Im frustrated enough as it is.
