Re: what would you do??

I'd probably lead out on the turn. The board is really scary for your 2p and there are lots of river cards that are bad for your hand and will kill your action. You can't be confident villain will bet again either and you will get value from lots of worse hands.

Assuming his opening range is fairly tight, most of his range beats you on the river: any Q, KJ/KT, KK/TT/JJ, AKss. Some of those hands should bet the turn but you never know. His play looks a lot like AQ/QQ.

Re: what would you do??

I also like betting the turn here, board is extremely draw heavy. As played I like a blocker bet on the river, something like 3-3.5 BB's, and fold to a re-raise. He can still pay you off with a strong king here, so I think we can squeeze out a little bit more value on the end.

Not a fan of the blocker bet.

AQ Is really the only Q he should have in this spot. So I'm calling river

+1

We also havent showed any strength on any street, meaning villain can easily bluff this river.

Could someone explain the methodology behind leading turn? I guess I could see us doing it with our weaker draw hands so we're sorta balanced

Re: what would you do??

maybe leading a very polarized range ott is ok however leading middling 2p ott will just get us into a lot of trouble. we will be bloating the pot oop with a hand thats def strong enough to x/c but is certainly in a tough spot if getting raised ott. not to mention that rivers will also be extremely tough to play in a bigger pot oop. i can get behind leading the nuts (particularly QJcc/QJdd) as well as leading stuff like J8ss ott in order to b/3b both. also if you start leading a hand like T9 here ott your checking range becomes insanely weak which is far from ideal as well.

You don't consider 2P a strong hand in this spot? We're ahead 100% of the time here but there are lots of river cards we don't want to see. And villain's weak bet on the flop doesn't give me much confidence that he'll bet again on the turn. Checking the turn and having him check behind is bad. Not only are there river cards that are threats to our hand, but there are lots of river cards that will kill our action and make it impossible to get any more chips out of villain.

Jamming 60 BB's effective into a pot of 8 BB's. Why? We don't even have close to the nuts.

why would you risk so much?? I dont see the point.
I feel like a lead on the turn and either a check or a small lead on the river works, but since the flush and straight hit i folded the river. Cant see him bluffing here too often from UTG+1 and also i played it too weak

i do consider it a reasonably strong hand however its far from the nuts. i rly dont want to nit it up or anything but if we decide to lead with our hand which strong hands are we rly x/calling then? i wouldnt read too much into villains betsize, could and probably should be his std sizing on boards that he has a decent range advantage on so i dont think he uses multiple sizings here to begin with. i am not happily stacking off here if we lead the turn and get raised and i strongly disagree that we are ahead 100% of the time ott. without putting a number on it we are probably ahead more often than we are behind but if we are behind we are basically dead to KK, TT, 33, KT and QJ.

to those who want to lead turn, whats your plan if being raised? which bluffs are you leading the turn with?

i don't mind the way you play it, i would probably make a very small blocker bet on the river tho
