Hand was awhile ago .. Not much reads yet on player..

We bought in late... have just under 5k starting stack... we have him covered by only 100 chips.

Were in Cutoff w/TT... Blinds are 100/200

He opens to 500 .. we call preflop. flop is 995 rainbow.

he checks flop, we bet 600~ and he check raises to ~1800.. We?

not liking a peel here for 1200 more..fold as played...villain rep jj+..could be turning 66,77,88 into a bluff but unlikely at this bi? maybe but unlikely

Don't like any other option besides folding.

Shove pre!

I don't like flatting here pre @ 25bb effective, since your pretty much set mining. This is definitely a shove/fold spot pre.

with our hand this is prolly one of the best flops we can get, unless of course V has a hand like A9s/JJ/QQ/KK and AA.

i'd gii on this flop , you've got an over pair and less then 20bb behind...i just don't think a hand like JJ/QQ/KK/AA would be c/r like this IMO

Can someone please explain why they think shoving > calling pf vs an UTG open for 25BBs??

What range do you assign a random UTG in a 15$? And with what part of that range is he calling a shove? I can't imagine we're doing well against his UTG r/c range, so he needs to be folding quite a bit here.

Not sure if that's what you mean, but if you think we're mostly setmining with this hand, this is a clearcut fold.

I'm probably not representable for villain, but i check flops like this with KK+ quite regurlarly, it's certainly not that uncommon. Not to mention he's getting a good price on a call even if he only has overcards or pp+gutshot. Which makes a bluff even more unlikely imo.

In that case I'd flat some of the time. Do we know how many people are at the table? A player in a 15 dollar tourny will usually open a bit wider than normal people.
