What would be the optimal play here? should we shove our set and hope to be against a overpair(which i dont think we will see many by the way the hand was played) or some draw?

Can we be more passive and just check/call it down?

bit confused about this one tbh since its on early stages (first blind lvel )

    nh imo
Maybe you should have raised more otf like 550, but I think it's ok to fold to a reraise (especially from UTG+2 who called/reraised)

There is no way you should be r/f this. Either raise and get it in or... No just get it in.

With the preflop action 33 is much more likely than 77. If he has 65 or some kind of combo draw, gambol.

:| did you have any reads? there are only 2 hands that beat us... and he might be some crazy fish with bigger pairs, FD, combo draws... if i`m not 100% sure about my opponent i never fold this hand

I would also just get it in .. I could never fold set there what are you worried about 77 56 villain as loads of possible over pairs fdraws . combos draws folding here is really nitty IMO

Hello and thanks for the feedback guys

I did shove on the flop, i guessed that since he limped it was more likely for him to have 33 then 77 and i put him on fd or overpair.. but yeah.. had 77 which sucked :P

I'd call. Too early to think this is a solid player. Could be a fish overestimating top pair w/ good kicker or overpair, or maybe even on a flush draw with a hand like AK-clubs he would never fold.

    Likelihood he has AA-JJ: 24 i think
likelihood he has 77: 1 hand

ship it and get a beer from the fridge

If you play it aggressively then you won't be put on a set. So I think you played it well.
