Hi Karl, thanks for the well.

What do you think about the value of being able to 4 bet light versus players you know are capable of 3 betting light? I tried 3 betting your button open light on Stars once in like a 109 and you snap 4 shipped me (I had been playing 5/3 or something).

My current approach just seems to be based on hunches and shoving with good equity hands like suited Aces and no gap suited connectors. Is this a leak? Are there any tips for 4 betting light other than just going by feel?

Will the world end in 2012?
ldo no clue I dont really spend too much money on expensive things, idk tbh.

idk, i think playing the highstakes for all off this year now, didnt play the 100r and stuff last year but still played most tourneys besides, I guess I played the midstakes pretty soon after i started and it didnt take me long. was pretty unmotivated for some time in 2008, prolly coulda been faster but didnt really play much at all.

yes, not even close.

idk, theres def too many really good players that I could pick one out. I guess Menlo doesn't play anymore but he's obv the sickest still when he plays.

lol wat

did you fold? owned. well, anyways, I don't use stats and in general every situation is player dependent, w/e. and it's obv important to be cabable off 4betting light etc, just pick the right spots

I mean it obv depends on the players calling range in certain spots etc, which obv will change my approach what shoving range im having, but in general like if people call close to correctly there are clearly hands that you shouldn't shove. (hand should have some value/equity obv - and vs people that are goin to call correctly you obv have to adjust to that too).

idk, since I dont use stats I guess so. like paying attention to the tables your playing and stuff and makin your decision based on the reads you have on the player things like that.

nice read thanks.

Any advice on how to get in the mood for the grind of a long MTT?

I get on the "chasing the loss" tilt and I have the tendency to blow through my BR playing super turbos HU or Rush cash games. I'll take a couple of days off redeposit and play relaxed and build my BR slightly up until I have to rinse and repeat. I feel that if I would just play MTTs or SNGS I would be a more profitable player; however, I try i like the rush of superturbos and rush. Any advice in general thank you.

dont play superturbos, they are high variance and if you dont run good in them you'll easily go on tilt. And if you have a losing day, just stop playing, trying to chase loses if you dont play your best is a bad idea. and If you dont feel like your playing your best, take a break. All about enjoying when your playing and also dont get affected by losing $. if you dont feel like playing, and you have pressure b/c you need to make $ and it affects your play, it usually is a bad idea to play, because you will most likely not play your best.

1.) you play really good, only leak is that you dont play softer tourneys you should play
2.) always trying to work on your game and really being openminded about every possible situation and I also think its really important that you constantly talk poker with other people.
3.) bakinC00kies, Jacks_h21, The_Stro_Sho
4.) taypaur, Gettin Daize, DonkCommited, agriffrod
5.) Mickmack, telks, Eeetee
6.) EPT San Remo, bc it might just be the one w/ the best value

First I love wells and I read them whenever I see them so thanks for giving up a lot of time for this.

I am a new player of MTTs and SNGs and make plenty of mistakes but hopefully getting better.
You said at the start of the post that after you torched a couple of buyins you started to read players better. What did you look for and how did you incorpirated into your game.

And you play multi tables and take notes. What are noting, do you take a note of the blind level, do you just have a couple of letter codes? How do you do it?

Thanks

What liveaments do you plan on playing the rest of the year?

The fifty/fifty or the double duece?

Your least favorite troll in SSMTT?

Why didn't you want to back me? Poor results? Inconsistent? Lack of volume? Age?

Favorite day of the week to play that isn't sunday?

at first I didnt play many tables and just focused on the few tables I played. I think that is very important before you start playing a lot of tables and try to rush things. I just took notes on different things like opening size, how aggressive the opponent was just little things that I thought were worth it. I also think you learn handreading a lot better if you play few tables at the start because by focusing on your game/other peoples game it will just come way easier.

How would u rank my poker game in comparison to some of the greats (driverseati, shaundeeb, threatnasty, charder30, mlh90, maxxmeister, etc etc)?

If you were to give me (or any other hsregs) one piece of advice to get to the next level what would it be?

if u were to participate in a celebrity deathmatch (online poker style) vs another hsmtter who would u most like ur opponent to be?
