If you moved to the US, what city would you pick and why?

What was the biggest breakthrough strategy wise that changed your game and helped you to decide to play for a living.

Wowow a Hot Karl well!!!

Do you ever have your confidence slip when you have a longer than usual string of non-cashes and none of your plays seem to work?

What tips/tricks do you use to get back on track if any?

St. Louis Cardinals, Colts, Timberwolves

i played tennis for 5 years, and soccer for like 3 years, but im too old for that stuff now

meh, mostly not...it depends on my motviation and how i feel.

well, i think getting staked for bigger events is always a thing i would consider - but for the normal stuff - no.

leaks: i think you still should pick more spots to open your game up late, and not trying to be nitty, but i think this has improved a lot as well.

strength: you have a great knowledge about the game, and play very well overall, making the right decision, don't spewing your stack away, or doing anything dumb

i like a acky a lot. great guy. very good player.

I think New York would be perfect for me. I think it's a great city, and living there, going to Las Vegas for few month during the Big Events would be perfect. I don't think i'd enjoy living in Vegas, cause i def would be playing to much, and my life would be a complete mess.

i mean, i'd say this forum helped me a lot to fix my few leaks that i still had, i got a lot of great advice here, when i still played some hands miserably bad, and w/ that i think my game has gotten a lot better.

well, overall a lot of German girls are really meh i think. there are some decent - but most meh, i'd prefer the US girls tbh.

i started of with 25cent (a friend send me that in late 06). i was superexcited to finally play for real money (i played .1/.2 FL) and i lost that moneyz quickly, after being up 1$. I was so disappointed at that time, cause i already considered myself an awesome player.

then i depositted 10$ couple times, and blew that, after that i figured that this ain't gonna work, so i put more online, and tried to play donkaments. before i got to a final table, i busted out 10th times, which was brutal.

than, in like feb. 2007, i made a final table in a 5.50, busting shaun ****ing deeb on the bubble w/ my 10's vs. AJ (he hit his J on the flop, i hit my 10 on the river)...but i ended getting 7th for like 150$ bucks or something. so it wasn't great, but i was excited to see that im able to make final tables.

continued to play Donkaments, than in late march, i won a 11$ for 4.4k, and after that i really did good - and good more confident w/ my play, focusing on playing poker, and seeing that i could make $$$ w/ it etc.

well...i really didn't care about school ever...and after i saw that i could make more money w/ playing poker, and focusing on that stuff, i quit school. first my parents weren't ok w/ my idea, but after couple of month, and seeing that i do well, they were fine, and didn't try to force me into doing something normal again. (which im happy about) - i mean, yeah if it wouldn't work, i have no safety to get back into something normal, but honestly, it's fine, taking such a risk, to do the thing i really enjoy doing and knowing that im getting way more money, than if i would, if i'd continue to go to school, study later etc.

i prolly could write more about it...but i think it's tl;dr anyway

meh, i have a very weird sleeping schedule, i often sleep more through the days, and play at night, cause the are so many good tourneys at night, or starting late. normally don't play that much through the days, mostly starting at like 6pm-9pm and depending on how i run/how motivated i am i'll play like 10-15 hours, or sometimes like 5 only.

well, when we played together, i thought u might played a little tight overall, and missed a few spots to open it up more, but beside, you played very well.

meh, i think, if im not running good, that doesn't affect my play, or the way i play, if i think that im not playing my best game, im gonna stop playing, but normally i think im very confident in my play, while i play. i wouldn't be playing, if i would do anything different, cause of recent bad luck or something like that.

just be confident in your game, as much as you run bad, get over it. as hard as it tilts you, and as hard as you might flame/bitch about it, as long as your seeing that u didn't do the wrong plays, just continue playing, and the results will come. if you feel, you didn't play your best, take a break for a couple of days, and come back after.

well, overall, its probably the same way i go about both.

that no matter how hard it is, that im always trying to the best to be successful in the things i do, never give up, stay determined to succeed the things, i care about no matter what. i think, thats the same w/ poker. almost everything is accomplishable if you just try hard enough, and don't give up, and just try and try again. and if i do something, or care about something i'll do everything thats needed in order to be succcessful, and accomplish the things i want to, and often it has worked out well for me, eventho it isn't easy often.

(2) where to you see yourself in 5 years, both in terms of life and poker?

(3) since this is a strategy forum, i will ask a strategy question, what is the single biggest leak you see in most competent small/mid stakes tourney players?

I will post more later when i think of them

i became a Cardinals Fan in 2003, watching a Game on German Pay TV, i had no clue about Baseball, but the way the Cardinals played just impressed me so much. Than i found out more about the sport, and i stuck w/ the Cardinals, i just liked the way they played and i really liked the team.

Kevin Garnett was my Hero in the NBA, when i really started watching the NBA, then i got the chance to watch them playing in the Playoffs - the year Kevin won his MVP Title, and the effort they put up that year, + i was so impressed by it, eventho we lost in 6 Games to the Lakers, it was just sweet the way they played and i really liked the attitude of the team.

Bascilly the Same w/ the Colts. Its just the way the teams play, i really think when i didn't know much about the Sports, getting interested in it, having a chance to watch it - the way the teams played, just impressed me. The attitude, the way they played, the effort. I don't ''randomly'' picked teams - i think for me its all about the attitude, the determination, the way Teams play. And all of the ''Teams'' im a fan off, impressed me when i first got a chance to watch them.

(1.) yeah, i think the lack of motivation is pretty much over, i just feel like winning the tourneys in Oct./Nov. + going to Sydney was a really nice, and having so much fun there, and being able to enjoy all the stuff, really got me back to a point, where i saw that it's really worth putting in a lot of time.

(2.) life: being a father, getting married, having my own family would be a awesome thing for me.
poker: still doing well online, traveling more around the circuit, playing a lot of live poker, and doing well in this as well.

(3.) i think, most ppl play have a lot of leaks in late game, and really don't try to play for the win, and care to much about making the money/final table, and don't adjust the way, they should play late in tourneys.

Do you still with your parents?

Are you investing your winnings? Are you prepared for the inevitable periods of running below expectation?

Do you think I'm burning EV by playing almost exclusively turbo SNG's that are loaded with regs? Since I work and only have a few hours/day during the week and weekends I don't usually have time/patience for long tourneys.

Any noticeable leaks in my game (besides when Kx > AQ on Ayy flop)?

Does your hat have three corners?

Which online player(s) do you hope to emulate?

To thinking players, what is your typical late-game image?

Yes, i do.

Well, since i still live w/ my parents, i don't need to use my money for some ABC stuff, and can save the most of it. Yeah, im def 100% prepared for bad periods.

Meh, your a good tourney player, so u should put in more volume w/ that also. But i mean, i don't play a lot of 12/180s, but even with the regs, they are still beatable.

i like your game. don't see any leaks, that i'd noticed while seeing you play.

wat.

well, im very impressed in the way Ansky plays. Eventho he doesn't play a lot of MTT's, i really think, it's the Online Player im most impressed by.

well, i think my ''LateGame Play'' always depend's on which players i play, and what kind off table i have.

2. always play for the win, don't be scared cause of something

it is.

cause a ''player'' isn't = team. yeah, there are always players on a team, i like more than others. but overall, it's still the team, that impresses me. KG is and always will be my favourite player, and im happy that he got his ring, eventho it wasn't in minnesota.
