Anyone else try these? I just discovered them when I put some money back on Stars. I've tried the $1, 36-mans and the $3, 24-mans. They're a lot of fun and it seems they can be quite profitable if you have a good handle on shortstack play and push/fold ranges. And because they're quick you can play lots of them.

Yeah I play the 6 man hyper KO's sometimes. I played a few mtt hypers and the variance is insane, not a big fan of them.

Also, the rake on those games are high

Yeah, although the bounties do help minimize the variance and mitigate the impact of the rake. Unlike the Beat the Clocks, where the variance is truly insane.

they're pretty good, ideal if you need to make a bunch of VPP

also I don't think they sync up with the breaks which sorta sucks

think I played a couple games wit you darth. Got one of your bounties too which I intend to withdraw so I can frame it on my wall

I spoke too soon about the variance. I've busted like 18 out of the last 20 or something ridiculous. I can handle the coin flips and running into big hands, but when idiots limp-call shoves with hands like T5s and Q8o and hit, that drives me bonkers.

You're better off playing the 6 max hypers, the variance isn't as wild and they're still a quick format and you can do well if you have good short stack skills and understand shoving ranges.
