Re: Stars $77 6max turbo, simple(?) river spot vs. ssnyc
I still don't know if perca is leveling us or not, but honestly, I don't really care. I always appreciate some out of the box thinking and if nothing else it helps me think about the game from a different perspective.
As far as this hand goes, and I talked to ss about this, c/r vs. him with our limited history, is not a good line. I think bet-folding vs. randoms is best, vs. a reg it's either bet-fold or bet-call depending on reads. I don't have enough knowledge about ss's game to know whether b/f or b/c is decisively better in this spot.

I gotta go w/ the people saying this looks like the easiest b/f ever.

meh, i thought there was some good discussion itt that didn't necessarily translate to the spot in question. i don't know about you, but i rather read threads like that then the typical "standard shove/thread, etc."

Re: Stars $77 6max turbo, simple(?) river spot vs. ssnyc
I'm bumping this because I feel like I have had a ton of pushback to me saying bet fold is almost always superior to c/c in most river spots...
This thread had a ton of varying and interesting posts from some old (relative term obv) school studs and should be a good read and hopefully create some good discussion on optimal river lines with deepish stacks.
In general I still a bet fold fan in almost all cases but always willing to hear alternate reasoning

What did you have then ssync ?
Sure prca was levelling itt - easy b/f. Vekked explains it nicely.

Re: Stars $77 6max turbo, simple(?) river spot vs. ssnyc
lol this is the easiest bet small/fist pump call ainec.
didn't read thread but I think ss has A7 or 7xss here a ton. he'll probably call his aces up and probably turn his 7 into a bruff imo.
would be very surprised if we're beat here. probably 67 and maybe 86 the only things that beat us but im not sure ss will flat turn with 67 here unless 67ss.
b/f vs someone who is capable of turning pairs into bluffs is not a good idea. so if not b/c then c/c. start another thread when you check and he overbet jams though

I can do lots but if this spot is easy vs reg I must be pretty unbalanced!
