Stars $77 6max turbo, simple(?) river spot vs. ssnyc
First hand at this table. I think flop/turn is ok, but let me know if you don't agree. Best river line?

Hero (SB): t2860 M = 95.33
kiran'sdad (BB): t3000 M = 100
mjsecret (CO): t3000 M = 100
Pre Flop: (t30) Hero is SB with 4 4

Re: Stars $77 6max turbo, simple(?) river spot vs. ssnyc
good hand to post
its no set, its no flopped two pair, prolly no spade draw, maybe a hand like K 6 or 85o that peels one OTF and gets implied odds OTT
river looks like bet/fold or c/c , i doubt ssync turns a busted draw into a bluff here and his two pairs should have raised on the flop

My best guess would be Aces up. Seen the fact that ssync is sometimes bluff happy and the fact that he probably has hit some kind of pair on this board I take a bet 185 / call line. 6x is such a small part of his range. Why do you want to bet/fold Furo?

Re: Stars $77 6max turbo, simple(?) river spot vs. ssnyc
because i think ssync plays a flush draw more aggressive (especially with 2 overs which is likely here) and this leaves more pair + draw combinations like 6x and 5x in his range
river is a good card to get value thou if he got two pair
thats why i see value in betting here as well and folding because i dont see him raising with a hand like 85 if we bet the river strong. i would not expect him at least.
Aces up.. hmm.. maybe, looks more like a pair + draw thing.

I agree with furo, maybe a mediocre spade draw is in his range too...

6x in his range OTR would be something like 86s, 4c6c? You would expect ssync to raise OTT if he had an OESD + club flush draw to go with it, so I don't see Tc6c or 9c6c in his range; all other T6s and 96s are probably gone OTT. And I don't see him calling with Jc6c, Qc6c, Kc6c OTF that often. My conclusion: 6x isn't a huge part of his raising range OTR, which is why I bet/call. My bet moreover will be somewhat on the smaller size to look weak, in the hope that ssync raises.

i think hes checking back most everything here except 2 pr +, my guess is he has a strong 8.
betting for value > c/r
turn timing would be something id feel out too. did he think before called turn or just snap or what?
im never folding here vs him ever, and i suggest the same to you if he knows who you are.

Seems like the easiest bet/fold river ever?

Kiran'sNit doesn't raise river here without a 6.

Re: Stars $77 6max turbo, simple(?) river spot vs. ssnyc
would ssync raise 66/55 pf? Don't know much about his play, but seems like 66/55 would be a way to play this hand. Any bigger pp he'd probably popped it up pf. As played i would bet/fold as well.

my initial reaction as well, then i assumed OP was wondering if betting was better than c/c...
im not sure.
what i am sure of tho, is that betting is superior to checking, cause SS is a payoff wizard, get out the book!
