The graph was a brag, to go along with the point of this thread. However, you didn't even respond to my points.

To get back to bragging, had my first 5-figure score last Saturday (2nd in 10:15 $10+r for like $10.4k). Also won a $22/180 for $1k.

Okay, now you can get back to debating if people like me should post here or in BBV :-)

hey guys, not trying to be a smart alec, but don't we have a BBV thread which stands for Brags, Beats and Variance?

Unoriginal IMO (see rest of thread).

sigh...ok...

There was a method behind what I was trying to do...

Obviously (and most times due to me) the bad beats dominate and overshadow the good things in the BBV thread...also we almost never see results in BBV but more often individual hands....

This thread was more along the lines of a SSMTT results/leaderboard thing to help boot confidence and to show the various posters progress. I also said this before but I truly belive that we can feed off each other's success...

BBV is three very distiinct things and may be we should have 3 threads (thanks Sherman)

loool

you should know me good enough that i was leveling!

this thread is perfectly fine i suppose, although i think just a general LC content thread is okay, but then what would MTTc be for?

Just be patient until the new mods are appointed. They'll want to have a say in what goes where and what is what and who is what is why is. Shouldn't be long now.

And you should know me good enough that I was leveling your level...or was I?

The problem with MTTc, if others sense what I do, is that it is heavily flooded with HSMTT content. Something just doesn't quite feel right about making LC posts and jabbing jokes at people who play the nosebleeds regularly. For example, when someone complains about a bad beat that costs them $25,000 I feel a bit sheepish complaining about a $100 bad beat despite those amounts being roughly equivalent to relevant bankrolls. I mean, the uNL regulars don't post in the HSNL LC threads. Also, MTTc requires me to open more tabs.

Won the Stars $22 32k gtd. yesterday for about 5.5k, consistently making it deep in the daily 30 grand, and took 4th in the $55 nightly 50 grand for about 4800 3mo. ago ( when it was only 50k gtd.)

Dude that would be pretty sweet!

My vote is officially in then for A Monthly results thread and a BBV thread.

Upon further review and thread reading, I love the idea - I think ssync's - for 3 threads.

B B V each getting their own

1) **** Poker/Life type of thread (Bad beats)
2) Random chit-chat (see uNL's Microbrew for example)
3) Montly Graph/Results Thread (at the end of each month)

Sherman
I vote for something like this. 3 extra threads that suck up a lot of misc/trash will not clutter things up.... Love the brag/results stuff. Will never read a beat thread, as mosts strat posts are just more marginal beats. And random stuff always needs a spot.

Note #1: This is Brag.

Note #2: This is not about MTTs.

Note #3: I posted it here b/c I don't know too many people in uNL.

Begin Post:

I had a sick session of 25NL today. $95.05 in 328 hands or 1.38 hours. That's $68.71/hour LOL.

Here are a few of the gems from the session. Note that many of these hands occured at different tables with different players.

Just for fun...see if you can find: 1 - Hand I totally botched, 1 - Bad Beat, Many - Horrible villains.

If you have questions/comments on the specific hands, please do refrain from posting them here. There is a lot of context to these hands and they cannot be analyzed in a vacuum. So if you have them, send them to me via PM rather than clutter this "BRAG" thread with questions.
