You guys say yay or nay...I think a thread that we all can post good scores and final results for all to see is needed...What's the fun of being in a group like this is we can't brag hard when we get there whereever each of us deem there to be.

IMO this can be a home for any score (win,FT, deep run, shot where you feel you held your own etc) that is important to the poster...no intended as a sweat thread...this is when someone gets a score that is significant to them and that they would like to share with the group.

if you play $4 180s and an FT is big...throw it up...if you took a short at a $50 or a $109 and went deep and are excited abouthow you played...put the field size and your finish and the $$$$

We have had a few random threads like this and they are good because it seems everyone is feeding off their peers successes..

So hopefully we can all enjoy it and appreciate each others good fortune no matter what the scale....congrats are good here but no BS and cheap shots please...if we think someone is overdoing it and posting every minicash we can address it offline.

GGOOOOOOGOGOOOO GO!!!!

I came in 173 in the three dollar rebuy last night.

Not really a brag though because I called off 40 BB on a flop I should ahve folded without thinking to get taken out. I am such a donk. I should have been soooo much deeper but i really misplayed this about as badly as possible. Not going into detail but lets just say I was holding 95s pre flop.

Well since this thread is up.....
-Got 1st in the $11.5k on Friday for $4.2k (Ship It!)

-Went deep until I donked off my stack on Sunday in the FTOPS Event #8 (4th out of 330 coming into the money, Finished in 200th). Had like 10 or so knockouts, plus I sattied into it so I made out with like $600.

Thats all for now, expect many more in the near future.

I didn't final table any 1k+ runner tournaments, but I did crush 6.5/45s for 85% ROI last week.

I posted my graph in SSMTTBBV: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...&postcount=611

Was on a horrid 3 month downswong but got some love last month...

Won a $22X2 for $1,400

Then once I was getting some really bad mojo (sorry for monopolozing SSMTTBBV) I decided the solution was to move up...

Played 3 $109s...finished 10th (BVB AK<1010 of a maniac), 2nd (woohooo $3.4K) and then 36th (not ITM but posted my busto hand and got all positive response for the play)

Also had a stake that panned out great!

All in all heading slowly in the right direction!!

Don't post here much, just like bragging:

Won the FT Fantasy Poker Freeroll for a 2009 ME seat. By far my biggest score ever.

Chopped the $3 rebuy on Stars for $3,470 Friday.

The guy that got 1st place money got all in w/me at FT w/ JJ vs my AA and spiked J on flop, or I would've had half chips in play at FT. In third place I was a big favorite to win this tournament, but I unfortunately needed the guaranteed money more. FWIW we played the rest of the tournament out, fot the TLB points, and I did take 1st place. GG me.

I think we should do a NEW one of these each month as hopefully it will become too long.

Nice scores . Congrats

I chopped a 3+R last week for 4407.07. Was by far my biggest score and it never felt so good to stay up for 38 hours (work about 2 hrs after ther tourney was over) but I felt, well still fell on top of the world!

a few weeks ago I fired up 3 tournaments that started within an hour of each other-

1:00 $109
1:15 $33 (360 max)
2:00 $33 20K guaranteed

I final tabled all three miraculously and ended up taking down the 360 max for a 2K score. Netted about 3K for the night...

How did you only net $1k between final tabling a $109 & a $33? Tiny fields?

Results for last week:

Qualified for the Sunday Million playing $11.70 DS's on Stars on my first try. Cashed out for $T215.

Burned through $T215 very quickly.

Chopped a $20 7 card Stud HU for $205.80.

Tried to figure out why someone who makes $8/hour at 25NL even bothers with SSMTTs...

Ya very small fields...

plus- I only finished 9th in the $109 for like $600... I think I posted the hand in BBV a few weeks ago

and in the $20 I think i finished 7th

the 109 had a field of about 350 and the 20 had 600ish runners

Haven't played much in months but play once every week or two. Played my 3rd turbo ever, a 12/180 and placed 2nd for $396. Should have won easily but repeatedly got sucked out on at FT. Such a piece of cake.

PS... although true, this post was made simply to drive Sherman crazy.

OT, but, the way I see it, beating 6/45 turbos for 25% ROI is about the same $ per table-hour as beating NL25 for 6 PTBB/100 (assuming averaging 35 minutes per tournament and 100 hands/hour at NL25). I think I can do the former, but I don't know about the latter. I also know I can play more tables in the 6/45 turbos.

But if you're talking about large-field SSMTTs vs. uNL games, then yeah, I get what you're saying.

$ 24 tourney cashed for 2k
$ 68 satellite to a $640 tourney, cashed for 5k
$ 109 satellite to a $535 tourney cashed for 12k (wsop seat)

This happened during a 4 week stretch in June, I play 10 hours/week. Cashed it all out and bought a new Lexus. See you all at the tables, I need to post more....

Only b/c I am confused by the math: I'm at 16PTBB/100. But 100/hour is right on (3 tabling), which is about 32BBs/hour. 32 / 4 = 8 or about $8. And yeah, I am talking about large field SSMTTs.

1 PTBB is actually 2 BB in NL cash games, So 16 PTBB/100 at NL25 would be 16 * 2 * .25 = $8 per 100 hands. 100 hands per table-hour was a quick assumption that implicitly assumed 6-max and made the math easier. At this rate $8/100 hands = $8/table-hour.

I average 34.4 minutes per 45 turbo I've played. If I can beat them for 25% ROI at the $6.50 level, I can make $6.50 * .25 * (60/34.4) = $2.83/table-hour.

In order to beat NL25 for the same rate per table-hour, I'd have to beat it at ($2.38/table-hour) / ($0.25/BB) / (2 PTBB/BB) * (100 hands/hour) / 100 = 5.66 PTBB/100. Between NL10 and NL25, I've played about 5600 hands at 4 PTBB/100 (low sample size, I know).

After getting crushed in July at 100NL and losing a ton at $22 and $55 STTs, I finally went busto and redeposited $100 at the end of the month. I stepped down to the $4.40/180s and $5.50 STTs did reasonably well. Then I discovered the $6.50 STTs and $6.50/45s and fell in love with the soft fields and the push/fold game. I'm not crushing these by any means (I'm at $280 after four tabling for ~15 hours) but turning a small steady profit feels a hell of a lot better than tilting away my entire BR after getting two outed yet again.
