pay jumps and please check turn.

Take the free card for the straight/flush or overs as if he jams we can't call due to icm.

Your problem with barrelling the turn is that 8d is a much better card for his perceived range than yours and he can raise/bluff a lot here knowing that a lot of the time you won't be able to stand the heat.

I'm not even sure I'm C-betting the flop to be honest, you can easily get raised on this sort of texture and you're rarely going to get a fold.

Just as a side note - don't think of drawing to a backdoor flush when you require four cards to appear on the board unless you hold the Ace. Drawing to a Q-high when you need a 4-flush on the board is a recipe for disaster as Omaha players will tell you.

First, congrats on the final table! Very exciting. Second, I agree with the other guys. I personally don't bet the turn. Take the free card and assess the river. He might check the river giving up, or take a stab at a pot where you have now made a hand on the river. As played, I would fold.

Thank you all for responding..now that I think about it it would have made more sense to check the turn and possibly even the flop since it hits his range a lot more than mine. And yes..I don't have a lot of fold equity although I am blocking diamonds.

Agree with checking turn and probably flop too.

Double-barreling is something I've been working on myself. In order to do it effectively, the turn card should either:
1) Meaningfully improve your equity;
2) Hit your perceived range; or
3) Make marginal hands, which make up most of villain's range, worse.

This turn card does none of those things.
