putting the hand from memory -- apologize if there's not enough information to make a decision

we're still far from the money (106 money, 170 left). I'm sitting with a stack of 37BB which puts me at about 50th currently. 9-man table.

Blinds are 1k/500 with antes, 12 min level
UTG+1 shoves with 16BB
Hero is UTG+2 with ??
No reads on anybody else in the table, but they're all in fairly comfortable positions -- let's say everyone after me has 30+ BB.

Only read is that UTG+1 has been shoving a lot since having 10-11BB so seems to be doing it fairly lightly.

What range would be good to reshove/isolated here, given that so many people are behind us, it's a pretty deep shove?

FWIW I had AQo in this spot and was pretty confused what to do since there were so many people after me.

16bb is pretty much half our stack so we are committed to the hand, so shoving over

I think AQo and 99 both borderline. Could be swayed by V stats

High risk spot. The fact that he's been shoving a lot at 10-11bb actually makes me give him more credit here because he has 16bb, is shoving UTG+1, and must be aware of the fact that everyone knows he's been shoving a lot. So it's a perfect spot for him to keep up the maniac image with a strong hand. Then you have to factor in the possibility of someone waking up with a monster behind you.

So I'm shoving JJ/AK+ and dumping everything else.

I think Darth Vadar is right on the fact that he's probably aware of his image and is using that too his advantage by shoving with a slightly bigger stack in an early position, too hopefully give off the impression that he's still loose when he shoves. I personally would fold AQ here, too many times you'll be looking at AK, and with that many BB's left I think we could probably find a better spot to get our money in. Tournament pace is another factor too consider I would be more inclined to call in a fast paced tourney in this spot than a slower tourney.

Im also thinking that he is aware of his image and pushing it for his advantage, so you should be careful and pick a tighter range. Also lots of people behind you can call also.
Calling is not a option you have to shove over.
Ill probably take AK+/10+ fold the rest.
