Short Stacked Push/Fold against Station

$4 / 180 players tourney (37 players left)

UTG+1 Limps (the guy is a station with VPIP/PFR 39/7 over 39 hands) (8k stack)

CO also limps (22/11 over 39 hands) (7k stack)

Hero is on the SB with AKo and shoves 15BB (4k stack)

UTG+1 calls

Obviously against a loose passive, the ideal would be to flop a monster and stack him as he would pay every street even with a bottom pair like he had been doing. But my stack size put me in push/fold mode.

1) Was this hand just a cooler or would anyone have done anything different?

2) Under what scenarios would playing this hand differently make sense (for example if I was at the BTN, with a slight bigger stack would it make sense to raise 2.2-2.5x)?

3) Would make it any sense to wait for a better spot to shove, or on average shoving with 2 limpers on the hand make sense? I had a LAG image at the time.

It turns out things would no change much as the villain limped with AA, but just to have an idea on the thought process.

Thanks guys!

Re: Short Stacked Push/Fold against Station

I liked the shove on the limpers. Especially if you had a fairly lag image that makes AK a perfect hand.
