Short in the money, bad decision?

The table I was playing on started off fairly tight. For 3 rounds straight the blinds were folded to button where the sb usually folded. Around and after the bubble the table started getting fairly active. The player I played the hand against had been semi active.

I was playing very nitty before and a little after the bubble because I was short, and the players that got the chips all in mostly showed down hands 66+,ATo+, A3-A5s, A9s+, and KQs. I had to fold 77, KQs, and ATs to an UTG raiser that had only shown down AA,KK,QQ, JJ, and AQs.

Needless to say I was looking for a spot to put my chips in because I was so short. The player to my right had made a couple moves on my BB that I folded to previously because I had worse hands and more chips. I talked myself into a call because I decided to assume that he was opening up his game because he only had one raiser to get past.

My question: Is this hand a call? Am I short enough to show a profit off of this hand?

I reasoned that if it was possible that the sb could be jamming a widened range that even if I'm behind, I would still show a profit or breakeven result because of the amount of chips in the pot. I really hate the call all day long.

EDIT: Are there better hand history converters for Carbon Poker? I used a random one that I found on the web.

Re: Short in the money, bad decision?

you're under 3bigs of course you can't fold!
be happy to pick up atleast 1 face card to stick it in!

sb should be jamming any two cards here

Re: Short in the money, bad decision?

Definitely, I just get the feeling that he's not jamming any two. I talked myself into him having a wider range. I really want to know the math versus a stupidly tight shoving range like what I think he had.

Re: Short in the money, bad decision?

our needed equity is ~32% (we get 2.16:1 pot odds)
so we break-even on a call when he shoves: 33+,A7s+,K9s+,Q9s+,J9s+,T9s,ATo+,KJo+ (15.84%)

EDIT: I guess sb shouldn't be jamming any two without fold equity then^^
