Hi guys ,this is a satelite to a big tournament on stars, blinds are increasing at 10 minutes, 3000 starting stack . Hero is in utg +1 and decide to 4 x bb after a limp from utg. No reads about anyone at the table. Hero gets to calls. Otf i hit a set and decide to bet 77% of the pot vs 2 players. I get one call. Turn is a bad card for me and villain checks. I decide to bet a little over 50% of the pot and villain c/r me all in . Should hero call or fold? Check or bet turn? I made the bet on the turn on the assumption if villain isn't going to a flush and go on a straight , i must make him pay to see the turn card and not letting to see the river card for free where he did not hit i could not make money if i bet river. Sry for my bad english.

I think it's a call, you're playing a $1 tourny so overall field will be really bad. You beat some of his value combos like he could be doing this with Q2 imo. If you think he's fish for sure call. Also Td is a nice blocker to the flush. Kinda depends on the player, if you think he's more of a reg a call is less appealing.

You can't put almost half your remaining chips in and then fold, the pot odds are too juicy to make the call. Villain could have hands like 2p, combo draws, AT with the Ad, etc.
