I haven't had the chance to play much poker lately but I thought I'd post some hands from a while back

My notes were V1 was a good reg and V2 was an unknown but seemed like a losing player

Stars Hot$11

V1 -UTG2 - $4400 raises to 220
V2 -BTN - $4800 calls

Hero in SB 5.2k calls with A10

Flop: 686
A78

hero checks, V1 bets 356, call, call

Turn 1936
J

Hero checks, V1 checks, V2 bets 968, hero calls V1 folds

River: 3872
10

Hero checks, V2 all in for 3282, hero folds

turn play was most interesting to me but curious for thoughts on hand in general.

Squeeze pre, I don't like calling in the SB with that hand.

Not sure there is any other way to play the rest of it.

Raise fold pre don't like flatting with A10o from the Sb . And yeah turn is definitely a fold imo

I don't understand this idea of 3betting ATo especially vs a good regs UTG2 open. Could you guys elaborate on your reasoning?

Secondly turn is good for us. if we are folding it to a bet (which I agree is probably the right move) why are we calling flop?

By raising ATo of pre your turning you hand into a bluff with the ace blocker rather then flat play a pot oop with hand that can be dominated a lot of the time by better aces and big pairs just folding pre would be also fine and better then flatting. Turn is not as good for as you think it brings a bunch of better flushes and the fact it goes bet call on card that changes the board dynamics a lot leads me to think A10 with the heart could have next to no equity
