I think you played it pretty reasonably but at the same time your hand is pretty much exactly what it looks like to him and I can't think of one bluff he could possibly have with the way the hand went. It's a hard play to make to fold AQ to that size on the river but you just have to think of any hands you could be beating and I can't think of any.

Raise size is too big pre imo.. and villain lost value on his aces and should of stacked you

Don't open 3x on a 25x stack on the button. There is no reason to open that big when blinds/antes are this big - you should be opening a lot in LP and you don't want to have to risk 3 Bbs every time.

I would just gii pre BTN vs SB on these stacksizes against someone with 9% 3bet over 93 hands. If he has it, it's a cooler. The only thing that makes me not want to gii is the fact that you opened 3x, but I would never open that big OTB so I don't know how to react to 3bets against it.

As played, I would just check back the flop and try to get to SD cheaply. I don't think there is a lot of value in betting, you're either way ahead or way behind when he checks, and getting x/raised is annoying as hell.

Not a fan of the 3x pre.

Flop can go either way I think, I also slightly prefer a check back. AP I probably bet turn and get stacked by the river tbh.

Don't post spoilers, especially in a hand like this, it really skews responses.

EDIT: If you do take my line and bet flop, bet turn and get x/r it's super sick but I guess you can find a fold at that stage.

Slightly prefer to x flop to avoid the x/r but otherwise nh - you lost the least possible

I'm a big one for telling people to fold rivers but lol at folding this one
