This hand was played with about >35 players left.

Facing villain who opened in CO, were both sitting with >30 BB stacks and BB has been calling with any hand when getting good Pot Odds.

I decide to flat K8s, is this a spot where 3B to isolate is ideal? or better to flat or fold consider SB has push/fold stack?

Flop, checks around to me I decide to bet with bottom pair. Initial aggressor has been CB 73% of the time and has decided to check this indicating weakness to me. Comments on merits of betting or checking here? Comments on bet sizing??

Turn, after initial aggressor calls I have him on range mostly with Jx hands, maybe some weak Qx hands, TK is also a possiblity. He could also possibly have checked sets and or 9T. Turn is the 2 spades and he checks again, any value here in betting or should we hope to check and reassess on river? I decide to bet little over 1/3 pot and he flats again, at this point I don't see him having any sets but a range consisting of hands like JK, JT, J9, and Qx hands.

River pairs the the board, and is checked again by villain. From my betting patterns I could have strong Qx, like QK QT. I could also have a set with 88s and 9T is also likely to be in my range. I feel like I am in this situation many times where I am confused as to what the sizing for this bet should be. A lot of the time I am putting my opponents all in. In this situation would you ever bet small (maybe 1/5 - 1/3 pot)?? or is this a standard shove by how the hand was played on previous streets??

22 pr seems a little on the high side, he should be r/f often from the HJ pre. I think 3betting is good here, proly 3b>fold>flat.. sucks sb has 8bb but its pretty w/e and I think i still pull the trigger anyway

    14,300/f pre

as played I would check along otf, dont think we are value betting or bluffing against enough combos to justify a bet, just check behind and hope we bink, if not then maybe bet if it gets checked to us again on a good card.

not sure turn and riv because I dont think I would ever get into that spot as played with K8s

    3b pre

    Check back flop.

As played otr check back ott - that card doesn't change anything. I would check back then. If I want to show some heart then shoving otr might be good if we can get him to fold a J or a Q. But I'm not sure if he will nor do I think that our line would convince him so.

So as we can see... 3b really is the best play because even with position versus a wide range this hand is hard to play. When we three bet pre he's only going to continue - 4b or call - with a very narrow range.

3b 30 bb Effective stacks is an integral part of mtt strategy in chipping up.

I'd 3b or fold pre. I like flop/turn but that's just not a good river card to keep going. check it back and hope he shows down AKss/KT or something.

    3b pre.

If he's calling otf he's calling THAT turn. If he's calling that turn he's calling THAT river - pretty predictable IMO.
