With 5 callers, I'm just check-folding the flop.

I cant think of any hand you are beating. so this has to be a fold on the turn.

Not sure if i like c/c turn or b/f turn... but not calling the raise is for sure.

    pre good
    flop good
    turn bet good
turn call not great...not the worst but a good bet fold spot

to nitpick a bit you can go smaller on both flop and turn.

pre std, flop sizing is good, maybe i would bet little bit more about 390-420..turn isnt good to me,sizing seems good to me,but call here is close, but often villain will have set,i think his range could be 33,TT,44,99(yes he could call you OTF)....sometimes he could try to semi-bluff here with JQcc but it is not likely often,he coould have T9 tooo it was just 5way pot before he had to call your raise,so he had good odds, but it is not likely too.
In summary : you beat only JQcc,so totally easy fold

I assume we are bet folding flop so why would we want to bet more? I think we can easily bet 275 and play the hand...no reason to bet too much with a pretty meh hand

at this spot, the most important thing is to know WHO your up against, obviously against a fish you would want to get it in as fast as possible, but against a good player, you want to be cautious.

So when you have so many players calling you, its time to check the water ... on the flop, bet around 40% of the pot, and see how many and who calls.

If you get called by a reg, then you might definetly be beat, so check the turn, and see what he does on the river.

If you dont know how to spot good players, just right click and search them, and if their playing plenty of tournaments, then theres a good chance that their good/decent.

But if you get called by a donk ( playing one table only, and uve had earlier reads etc ) then ofcourse get it in on the turn/river.

Theres rly no other way to play this, there is nothing wrong is folding an overpair

    Re: Overpair OOP, 6way pot

B/f OTT is probably warranted, but it's pretty close in a $10 imo w/ that turn card vs a random. Villain's range looks like this:

Set or QQ+ = 30 hands = like 2% equity (ie practically not worth considering)
    AT, JTs,QTs,KTs = 20 hands = like 80% equity

    so we win about 21/56 = 38% equity ~

There's about t4300 in the pot and its about t2000 for us to call, so we only need like 33% to make the call break even right? So while I see the logic to b/f, idk if you can argue against b/c mathematically. Obviously cutting out AT alters our equity drastically, but shouldn't we assume crazier **** happens in a $10 than a fish overvaluing an unchanged TPTK?
