neutral ev spot?

Poker Stars $3.00+$0.30 No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t75/t150 Blinds + t20 - 9 players - View hand 1845389
DeucesCracked Poker Videos Hand History Converter

Hero (BB): t2477 M = 6.12
UTG: t2819 M = 6.96
UTG+1: t6953 M = 17.17
UTG+2: t2099 M = 5.18
MP1: t2652 M = 6.55
MP2: t22480 M = 55.51
CO: t2479 M = 6.12
BTN: t1917 M = 4.73
SB: t4460 M = 11.01

Pre Flop: (t405) Hero is BB with T K
6 folds, BTN raises to t1897 all in, 1 fold, Hero ?

Btn is a 11/9 [~90hands] with 17% steal

we get 1.32:1 = 43% needed equity

i'm assuming a nit's shoving range looks kinda like:
JJ-22,A2s+,K9s+,Q9s+,J9s+,98s,87s,76s,A8o+,KJo+

it seems to be a fold at first glance but if he's wider (we need a larger sample to know that) this could be ~neutal ev.
spots like these are so common and i just need some thoughts...

Re: neutral ev spot?

i just fold and wait for a hand here

had a lol at neutral ev though

is there any point making a neutral ev call when you can just make a +ev shove or resteal?

a against a good reg this could be a standard call here

the point is to determine if it's neutral ev!
You know just for the sake of knowing it

i think it's crucial to understand if you made a mistake or not.
in this example villain had AQs, but it doesn't necessarily mean calling is a mistake. (although i think it was)

lol i know, i just think these spots are so close that i'm folding unless i've got specific reads.

with antes you should call against a good/bad reg, see them shoving very wide
