Hello.
I have found that there are a lot of different
formats: DoN, KO, Spins and classic. Even classic has different variables like
speed: regular, turbo and hyper turbo
Table size shorthanded/fullring
field size: 6/9/18/45/180/...
I am a little bit confused what is good and what is not. I have decided to start with classic SnGos (may be some other formats are more profitable nowadays because of recreational player relative weight?).
Regarding speed I decided to start with normal (not turbo) speed, because I am more experienced in postflop then push/fold game. I read some opinions that many players prefer turbo formats (You can play more tournaments per time unit -> higher $/hour but less ROI and higher variance). Am I right here?
Shorthanded or Fullring? It is tough. I have played 6-max cash games. I know that variance is higher. But I really consider to play fullring games to get experince here and apply it later for some offline events. What is a difference in this aspect regarding SnGos?
Field size. The bigger is a field the higher is variance. Any suggestions what is more profitable/softer/better for some other reasons?
It would be great if you share your experience with me
