I had a health stack and was about 3rd or 4th in chips and about 7 ppl on the final table of about 22ppl tourney. I had around 86k and i was in the bb and some guy goes all in with A9 and everyone folds and I call. I lose to 9 on the river. he had 36k and the bb is 4k and no ante. Right call? The guy with A9 was one of the short stacks. Standard?

Easy fold because the 9 hit on the river. If no 9 would have hit it would be an easy call.

Yes. Always fold pre when villain is going to hit their out on the river, jam/folding here is correct.
