I think the Event No1 is wayyy too top heavy paid. Only 100 places paid when the registrations will probably be somewhere around 50,000. That means only 0.2% places paid !

Bryan, please tell your French colleague that he has to put up a Leaderboard for PokerStars.fr's upcoming Micro Series!

In my opinion, every Tournament Series needs a Player of the Year Leaderboard ...

Schedule of Micromillions II for different time zones in excel format.

This simple tool might help you with creating your own schedule for this series.
This tool can convert starting time of the tournament from ET to any GMT -t/+t for the entire series.
Manual is also inside.

https://rapidshare.com/files/3205177...edule_eng.xlsx

The only problem you can face is dates.
If the tournament begins, for instance, at 16 july 23:00 (ET) and your're in GMT 0 time zone than you will see that tournament begins 3:00 (GMT0) but still 16 july, not 17.
Even though it's not a big deal I believe.

Anyway, it's gonna be nice if someone want to make some updates on this or things like that.

Actually, this one doesn't. It's explicitly advertised as top 100 paid.

A mincash worth 20c is pretty pointless though, so having top 100 paid and a mincash probably being >$30 is quite a good idea imo. Also makes the FT prizes very juicy indeed because there isn't a long tail of thousands of prizes of <$1 eating up the prize pool - first will probably be $2,500, which is pretty sick for a 10c buyin.

Oh, come on! Like you haven't heard before of the rebuy 3x-turbos.. The mincash wouldn't be 20c but more like $2 and they could do it a little bit more top heavy than the rest of the 3x-turbos for a bigger mincash. But only 100 places paid?! That's ridiculous! It's like trying to make the final table of a turbo tournament with 5,000 registr. just to get in the money!
Anyway, i don't think a lot of people will care since we're talking about a 10c tournament but just saying...

Re: MicroMillions II (July 2012) -- Discussion Thread

its only for 1 tourney, so if u dont like it, no biggie, there's plenty more games to chose from.

personally, i think its a pretty cool idea. bubble could get a bit extreme.

Re: MicroMillions II (July 2012) -- Discussion Thread

First, thanks Pokerstars for caring for micro-tourney players!

I love big tournament series like MicroMillions, SCOOP etc and will try to play as much events as possible. However it could be better here are my arguments about the schedule:

1. Why does 8-game start at 8am CET? This start time screws europeans and canadians while favors Asia & Pacific and as far as i know mixed games aren't popular there.

2. No No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw? IMO that game is much more popular than you think, more popular than Fixed Limit 2-7 Triple Draw. Even WSOP has 2 of those.

3. Too many $1 rebuys on the schedule, 13 total out of 100 events? I would like to see less of those and more $1-$4 non rebuy turbos (like hot $3,30 for example).

4. Also $1 and $2 rebuy tournaments on the schedule have absurdly large add-on. 30 000 chips addon is just ridicolous it enables most players to double their stacks by taking it. It makes the entire rebuy phase a waste of time. Should be reduced to 10 000.

Re: MicroMillions II (July 2012) -- Discussion Thread

I find the 1 dollar 3x turbo rebuy tourneys not intended for a microstakes player at all. Its a ridiculous format for those that wanna "play poker" Its not poker, its just a preflop-shoving/coinflip donkfest and praying somehow to get to the final table that way. Sure, I can understand the appeal for those that have limited time, I play them too, but it sure aint micro....

Also whats really upsetting is the lack of variety in these micromillions. 90% of the tourneys are no limit holdem events. Very disappointing, there ought to be 2 or three different formats for the Stud/Horse/8 Game/FL Holdem events- but there aren't, instead we have all these 2/3 x turbo rebuy donkfest NL games that are there EVERY DAY.

Not enough Horse / 8G / Fixed limit 08 / PLO8 / Draw

1 of each in 100 tournaments isn't enough.

2c added.

Re: MicroMillions II (July 2012) -- Discussion Thread

There's nothing changed at the so-called "special edition" sunday storm.Same guarantee same crappy structure. It has a worse structure than other regular speed MM tourneys wich tilts me.
Also i understand that some people must love the 3x turbo format, otherwise they wouldn't achieve such high prize pools, but so many of them and all hit my schedule while i miss the 8 game(as already said bad starting time).
That aside,cool schedule.

Re: MicroMillions II (July 2012) -- Discussion Thread

Hi Bryan,

Will you release a google Cal, like you did for the previous MM and all other Series?

It's nice to have the Tourneys in my Calendar with the correct Timezones, or did i just missed it?

cheers

Re: MicroMillions II (July 2012) -- Discussion Thread

The 10c rebuy is going to be insane. I can see myself having 30-40 rebuys, lol.
Not too thrilled about the fact that there's only one 8-game tourny and one badugi.
I know holdem is a popular game but cmon!

A 10-game mix tourny like the wsop would have been awesome too, but oh well.
