Re: MicroMillions II (July 2012) -- Discussion Thread
Assuming that the majority of these players for these events come from Europe now (That might be wrong) is a 22:00 ET starting time not a little late?

Re: MicroMillions II (July 2012) -- Discussion Thread
More draw please. There's no PL 5-card or 2-7 Single Draw. There should at least be more draws than action hours imo.

The schedule doesn't cater to any one time zone. More than for any other series we put out, the times for MicroMillions are spread all over the clock. This is intentional, and opens up at least some portion of the series to every portion of our playerbase.

Looking forward to it.
.FR's micro series has a 30 euro high roller, why not similar?
Could main event not be $25+2 like SCOOOOOP L?

Re: MicroMillions II (July 2012) -- Discussion Thread
Less rebuy tourneys and especially 3x-turbos.
If you go for the leaderboard it just forces you to play them which sucks since there are a big chance of cashing if you just ship every hand until you get a stack.
Also some kind of highroller would be fun i think. I know it is for micro players but doesnt every series has a highroller? A 109 or 215 would be nice.
Would like to see more non-holdem events as well.
Also is "the big game format" something we will see more of on the regular schedule?

Whilst it may not cater to a specific timezone, it's still based largely on the US playing. If most users are based in Europe then there are gonna be very few players prepared to stay up until 4am to play in a $5 tournament.
Understand that with the big schedule not all events can be played out in suitable times for the UK and Euro market, but I definitely think the times could be altered slightly to allow more of the tournaments to be open.

Re: MicroMillions II (July 2012) -- Discussion Thread
Forgive the dumb question, but what's the" Big Game Format"? AFAIK, the Big Game is a Pokerstars sponsored TV poker show, but it's a highstakes cash game with the pros. How does that translate to a tourney?
Anyway, Daniel Negreanu and Barry G can't be on every table!

It's not at all based on the US playing. As for participation, unless they're all turbos, anyone going deep is going to find themselves at least partially inconvenienced. That's just the nature of championship-level poker with deep stacks.

3x-Turbos were hugely popular in MicroMillions I. I don't expect they'll go anywhere. As for a high roller, in a micro series that amounts basically to a regular tournament on the schedule. As you point out, the series is quite hold'em heavy; this is by design. There's no intention to put the Big Game Format into the regular schedule.

An interesting idea which we'll discuss. Thanks!

The Big Game Format refers to the fact that it's PLHE before the flop and NLHE after the flop, which is how The Big Game is played.
