Just moved to a new table about an orbit ago. Villain has been active. He's played 4 hands since I've moved to the table, and he has called preflop and ultimately shoved the river in three of those hands. He was only called once, and he had top pair garbage kicker.
Blinds are 50/100, hero has 3.2k, villain has 3.1.
Hero is UTG with A

K

Raises to 250
Folds to villain (BB) who calls.
Flop (550) T

2

T

Villain checks, hero bets 300, and villain calls.
Everyone ok with the cbet? Dry flop, possibility of hitting an A, a K,, or a good barrel card on the turn, so I thought it was a good spot to stab
Turn (1150) 6
Villain checks, hero checks
I felt like this wasn't a scare card if he has a pocket pair and I didn't really pick up any equity, so I decided to take the free card, but I suppose I could fire another barrel to rep a big pair..
River (1150) 4

Villain insta shoves for about 2.5k Hero?
Thought on hero's line? What the heck do you think villain has here? Would you ever contemplate a hero call against such a strange line, or are you willing to pass up this fairly marginal spot and hope to catch villain with his hand in the cookie jar sometime down the line?
