Re: Hot $16 TPTK minraised otf

I would prefer bigger on the flop for 2 reasons; because we're making it +EV for FD to call getting 4 to 1, and 5 to 1 (if 1st guy flats); and because we are not folding to very many turn cards.

I call the river as played since you think he sucks.

His turn sizing reeks of strength. If you were going to fold at any point It would have to be turn as his turn bet basically says I have a flush or nothing. If you dont believe him due to past experience then you just x/call to induce otherwise turn is a definite fold.

Why u dont put your chips in the middle on the flop? U think he's gonna fold QJ, QT and so on?
If you're good on the flop you should go all in.

My opinion

pretty much +1 to everyting furo said.

if hero has been abusing these guys then i'm prety sure these guys are waiting to get top pair and go crazy with it.

I call b/c there's only 2 A6s combos he can have and i guess a couple of 56s but i think he plays KsQx/JsQx like this a ton as he's fed up of hero bullying him around.

Re: Hot $16 TPTK minraised otf

flop is kinda gross vs. passive villains (this is actually close, unlike some itt think)
as played turn is a call and only a call
river is close, you have such good odds but villain is rarely bluffing or value betting worse. prob call since villains at these stakes have a significantly higher idiot factor

I'd fold the turn, not that I like it but I only beat bluffs at that point.

Re: Hot $16 TPTK minraised otf

we call turn because of price but mostly because we also have the nfd, which is almost always good unless he has a boat (very rare/unlikely because of combinations and QQ almost always raising pre)

vs. even 6x we have a really clear call on the turn

Re: Hot $16 TPTK minraised otf

i mean it might not be that bad, but it's better than calling only if you think he has hands like KQ QJ etc and that they are a big % of his range, which will also c/f river if spade gets there (which won't even happen that often). i don't even think he will because of the price he will get (or spr)

mostly i just feel villain is somewhat strong, or i did when i first started my post, on the flop, but later started adding more idiot factor into his range lol

In one post you say that you want to get it in OTF with a 3b and in another post you want to call turn for him to be able to shoot his weak range OTR.

Isnt this kind of contradictarily?

To the hand its gross and by no means easy call OTR. Its pretty read dependent but Im prob calling most of the time unless he is super passive post.
