Glitlr's Well :)

Hi, everyone. For those of you who don't know who I am, let me introduce myself formally. My name is Matt, I am 25 yrs old, and I live in California. I have been playing online poker professionally for three years and have been coaching professionally for two years. I started playing 9 mans and then moved to play 45-180 mtt sngs and mtts.

I play a very creative and unorthodox style, one that is based around logic & creativity & opponent reads & just about anything that seems to make coherent sense in the moment. I am a very feel based player and I tend to trust my gut 99% of the time. The best quality about my game is that I never think "I know it all" and I always want to learn from other people about better ideas, optimal play, and most importantly +mEV plays. M represents Maximum.

For those of you who do know me, you know that I am probably the least egocentric poker player around. I love to teach poker and I love to learn poker. But due to the recent DOJ actions, I am enticed to at least finally be results oriented since my name "Good Luck In The Long Run" represents the long haul. My long run is over. So here is what graphs look like when you apply intelligence to sngs.

Ask me stuff, just try and steer away from direct strategy questions that are very specific or advanced. I'll answer simpler strategy questions, but more difficult and intricate ones I save for my students.

GO!!

Sorry to hear that you live in the USA at the moment, I think America is great, and wonder what it is like not being able to grind? you don't need to answer that cause we all feel the pain for you guys....

I guess my question is how do you play "creative and unorthodox style"? How long does it take to win like you have in the past couple years?

Do you plan to move out of the USA to continue grinding online?

1. Do you find that by teaching/ coaching/ helping other players that you help your own game too? (either by having to stay sharp and up to date, or hearing different thought processes or in other ways)

2. What prompted the change from 9 mans? Were you ever tempted to go back?

Back in my stt days I always thought your name was Giltr for some reason lol

Used to watch ur vids and grindschool. Your vids where the best sit n go vids ive ever seen. Unlike most you truly wanted to your students to do good. And you held nothing back at all.

Your think and teaching methods are truly one of a kind. The pendulum based part was sick J10s=Q9o was sick.

Hope you all the best.

Yes, teaching makes me learn too. Man, you'd be surprised. Sometimes students teach me and im like DAMN this is good can I pay you now? I love different points of view for sure.

I changed from 9s because I wanted to branch out, and I'm really glad I did. I learned about poker

Ya, if you google me it says "did you mean glitter" and then i smash my keyboard

I'm gonna be moving near the sacramento area in CA

@ game 58k, was pretty much the jump to mtts. But it had been a work in progress for a long time. The best way to describe it was that it was the moment that the puzzle fit together. Even up to game 58k, the puzzle felt incomplete.

but tbh, the puzzle is never solved ever.
