his fold to 3b is kinda low i think so i didnt want to 3b. Cbets a lot so i dindt want to give up (is this wrong considering i didnt 3b pre?)

I think i should have raised since he remains aggro on turn too

I often do 3b here pre because I want to have the betting lead going into the flop oop and he's gonna call ip pretty light with a range that's gonna miss 60% of the time. 88 doesn't flop well and I like having the cbet advantage otf. If he shoves that's a narrow range and I don't mind folding this deep.

As played ya this looks like a nice check raise to semi bluff on - hits your range (which he likely doesn't think about ) the two tens make it less likely he has one. There's only one over card and there's still several cards that could drop ott that are unfavorable so this has both value and protection.

Both lines are less exploitable than c xc xf... imo.
