Bovada, $5DS, far from the money

Table currently 7-handed, Blinds 50/100

PREFLOP: UTG(4400) limps, HERO(4410) raises to 400 with AJo, folded to BB(1790 left after posting) who jams, UTG folds, HERO??

BB Villian was running 27/9/Inf over 23 hands.

Bit of a slick spot, but is this an easy fold? I was getting about 2140-to-1490(69.6%). A call/loss would still leave me with an M of about 16, so that's isn't too bad but I just don't see how I'm really ever ahead of villian's range here, and without antes and more limpers cEV can hardly justify the call either.

You guys folding here or calling off?

I'd raise to 3.5x pre.

Fold to the shove;
We need 40% equity to call villain, and even vs. an unlikely loose range of *77+,AJs+,KQs,AJo+,KQo* we only have 38.7%.

You should be getting 2440 to 1490 if you raised 400.

I could go either way with info given.

I must have been either cutoff or button, can't quite recall.

And you are defintely correct, I butchered those calling odds calculations and was actually getting a much more reasonable 38% calling odds while closing the action.

This doesn't seem that unlikely range at all to me.

Didn't do the math, but if we need 38% like setsetter said after D_E corrected our odds I am calling this one.
