This is a line taken by a lot of flush draws, open enders and sets. So for sure calling flop and checking back turn. And when river bricks out and makes it extremely hard for him to have 3s here, I think you have to sigh call this and hope villain has a busted draw.
I think it is at least worth considering a fold here. Villain's bluff range contains spades, KTs, QTs, and T8s. Given this, I would generally tend to lean toward calling with hands that don't contain spades or tens and at least considering folding the hands that do.
Weird spot. Generally if theyre bluffing, theyre shoving the river and putting you all-in. That being said, his turn check is puzzling. If he has a big hand, he should be betting on such a wet board. Probably folding, but his line doesnt make much sense here.
Wouldn’t bet here our kicker is too weak and we might just end up value owning us self to better Jack hands. Also getting checked raised with this hand is a bit of a disaster as I would be very reluctant to play for stacks with such a weak hand. Also worth noting is having a 10 here is not really helping matters as we want him to be bluffing with something like Q10S or 108s if he flats that.
As played I’d say it’s close and he’s most likely bluffing a bit in this spot but I’m also thinking he shows up with the goods a fair amount as well. I’d probably value my tournament life too much to make the hero here but again I would try to avoid this situation by not betting the flop.
The check-raise was almost the minimum. Slightly favors strength, I would use that for a tie break and decide to fold river. AcJc for instance could be played this way, and thats not even top villain range, he could have anything better and also play this way. Tough spot.
Yeah super weird spot. The 3 on the end also made things more complicated, as now there's only 1 combo of 33 he can have instead of 3.
I was leaning towards folding the river, but now the only hands that make sense are JJ and 99. The 3 counterfeits the J9 so I feel like he would just check the river with that.

I agree with this completely. My biggest regret of the hand was betting the flop.

The 3 does not counterfeit J9, J9 still beats any jack here.

And I did take this, (river sizing), into consideration. Really meant to fold but misclicked
3b some of the time preflop but flat is obv fine too. Part of the edge of JTs is it can bluff and realize equity but that's hard to do when it's multiway mostly.
Checking the flop some of the time but again bet's fine too lol.
