Did I miss out on value? Did I miss out on value?

Should I have check raised the flop the led turn and river to get it all in? Or is this the kind of spot where you need to be exercising a bit of pot control?

As always input is much appreciated.

You're starting the hand with 29bb so you're looking to get it in when you hit TP. There's no room for fancy plays here. CB flop and fire again on the turn.

Totally agree you need to get the money in there.

Trying to get fancy with a x/r on the flop. Should have wound my neck in gone for the obvious play.

It's useful to think about SPR (stack to pot ratio) - here it's about 4 on the flop which is fine for TPGK to gii on a dry A high flop - esp when playing against a button flatting range where there are fewer AK AA. Bet bet bet.

You're quickly becoming my sensei Goat. Never take SPR into account when im playing tournaments. Forgot to take the concept into account since I read Professional NLH a few years ago
