Big50, ITM, A3o OTB w/ 20x

SB is a very winning reg at $33 abi (around $400K in winnings and a ROI of like 40% over a huuuuge sample).
BB is a loser at $2 - running 50/25 over 12 hands.

No reads obv, since I've been at the table 12 hands.

SB: 25,711 (21.4 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with A 3
6 folds Hero ?

SB is a good reg with a perfect reshoving stack and BB is a loose-passiv bad player that will defend extremely wide, which makes opening small pretty gross. But if this is your line, do you fold to a SB shove?

Openshoving 20x is a bit excessive.

Openfolding an A on the BTN at these blind lvls seems pretty weak too.

Open shoving is +EV so I prefer it to folding.
But folding does seem > raising if you think you aren't getting through very often

Ok. How do we play this then?

Hero: raises 1200 to 2525
SB: calls 1800
BB: calls 1200
*** FLOP *** [6s 3d 8c]
SB: checks
BB: checks
Hero: ?

Didn't expect to get flatted by the SB almost ever, but did expect to get flatted really wide by BB.
How do we play this? b/f, b/c or check back?

Postflop check behind 3 way.

Problem with shoving pre is that decent villian will correctly discount top end of your range and look you up light.

Still prob marginally +ev tho so unless your looking to reduce variance shove > r/f > fold.

Check and give up, we're too shallow to be playing postflop 3way with no equity.

r/f pre
check back flop and be prepared to call at least one street vs sb and fold to any action from BB.
