Winning Poker Network (Yatahay) - 60/120 NL - Holdem - 8 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: 34.46 BB (VPIP: 7.14, PFR: 7.14, 3Bet Preflop: 20.00, Hands: 14)
Hero (SB): 53.9 BB
BB: 20.68 BB (VPIP: 7.69, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 14)
UTG: 21.91 BB (VPIP: 12.50, PFR: 9.38, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 32)
UTG+1: 33.33 BB (VPIP: 33.33, PFR: 33.33, 3Bet Preflop: 100.00, Hands: 3)
MP: 32.62 BB (VPIP: 14.29, PFR: 7.14, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 14)
MP+1: 30.46 BB (VPIP: 28.57, PFR: 14.29, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 8)
CO: 20.88 BB (VPIP: 3.23, PFR: 3.23, 3Bet Preflop: 9.09, Hands: 31)

8 players post ante of 0.13 BB, Hero posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 2.5 BB) Hero has J J

UTG raises to 2.5 BB, fold, fold, fold, fold, BTN raises to 5.99 BB, Hero raises to 53.78 BB and is all-in

I'm thinking this was probably a bad shove here with villains ~25bb deep, but I'm not sure? Should I have flatted here? Thanks

Yes, terrible shove. UTG's range is going to be pretty tight, which also narrows BTN's range. So it's not a good spot to risk 34bb effective with a hand like JJ.

I don't like the cold 4 bet shove but wouldn't mind a normal 4 bet, maybe to Around 15-18 bbs and re-evaluate. I think a flat is good too.

I don't use a hud so most of those stats are Greek to me but I would like this play more so if the button has been 3 betting often or generally playing very aggro.

This is bad. It's essentially the same as 4bet shoving, because we're committed to calling any remaining shove because of pot odds.

I think for the hand we can consider flatting or folding, I can't really fault you for either one as there are valid arguments for both.

Meh, I just dump it. With 22 and 34bb effective you don't have the odds to set-mine facing a 6x 3b, and you can get yourself in deep trouble playing JJ OOP against tight ranges. Plus there is always the possibility that UTG shoves after you call.

I think JJ in this spot is high risk, low reward.

Nail on the head. We're not comfortable post flop then legs just move forward instead of doing fps and creating a bad situation for ourselves.
