Hi guys,

Just can't get over a hand of a MTT today. 10. hand of the tournament everyone still very deep (300bb).

blinds 15/30,
Preflop
Villan UTG+2 opens 90, hero low-jack with AsKc 3-bets to 240. Everybody folds, Villan calls.

Flop: pot 557 : AdTdJs
Villan checks, hero checks

Turn: pot 557 : Tc
Villan bets 279, hero calls

River: pot: 1115 : 2d
Villan bets all-in 874

Hero has 1022 chips, what would you do and why?

Many thanks in advance guys.

I would bet the flop, if called I probably get to show down as cheap as I can. As played, I fold river. Too many ways for opponent to be ahead here also it is early in tournament.

Thanks for the answers. I have folded because I don't think he would shove AQ there and that is the only value I can beat here and there are so few bluffs in this spot for him.

Given that he called my 3-bet oop preflop and he bet the turn, I think the only bluff he has here is QQ or MAYBE a KJs (and diamond made nut flush).

So i think he most likely bets here with KQ, JJ, AT, AJ. Is this thought correctly?

Many thanks

He might shove AQ if he thinks he can get a call from KK or a worse Ax. But there are way more hands in his range that beat you: AA/JJ/AJ/AT/KQ and possibly even KTs/QTs/JTs if he would call those pre.

I would bet the flop. I have a pretty good hand and i want villains chips. If we bet flop. Villian likely doesn't lead out on turn. Meaning we might not have to risk our tourny life on a river decision.

Think C-Bet here is obligatory, because we can make our live so much easier with this.
On Jam - tend to stack off (V depend), On Call - Re-Evaluate Turn (but mostly jamming
1,500 - 240 - 1260 (pot OTF 557) C-bet something like 275-300 - show most Turn card);
Maybe sometimes folding this on spaz raise, but no info, still jaming;

Don't see tho, w/o info, how we cold shut down OTT, but on some really bad run-outs, probably can;
