I have been very active the past few orbits and haven't been to showdown. Villian in the SB has made a few 3 bets and seems to know what he is doing.

He probably has a monster but I'd like to hear what others think.

In a $5 tourney I would probably ship pre. If it was a $20+ online tourney I might call pre.

Not cbetting this wet flop after 4betting seems pretty weak, you got 2 overs bd fd and a gutshot.
cbet and get it in / call if raised imo

yes, 4bet bigger to ~140k or shove.

    Bet flop as played.

You have to bet this flop texture vs any competent villain. Think about it - you would c-bet any value hand even the very top of your range (sets, two pair) On This board wouldn't you? A competent villain knows that. By checking behind you are effectively giving up on the pot and letting villain bet his entire range on the turn to take it down.

The only time I would ever consider checking this flop is vs the very very lagtard/maniac opponents where you will likely get check raised bluffed off your hand. In that situation it is best to try to take a card and hit.

+1 for 4b bigger and jam flops with psb.

As played, b/c. overs, gutter, bdfd is good enough with spr < 2

Main point is when you check flop in 4bet pot w/ initiative you turning your hand face up. What else would you 4bet pre and check otf, except AxKx...

Though, I`m unsure if it`s b/c as played.
Very little equity we have in 4 bet pot vs someone competent. Mostly we`d have 3 outs.

u can C/bet the flop less than what u 4bet to and i doubt he "has a monster" bc he would have gotten it in pre .. I C/bet small and reevaluate a call

I'd bet big this flop, but it's a fold if he raises. Every out we have must come as a non-spade so we can have implied odds

    You cant b/f this flop.

Do the math - if you bet like 100k and he shoves your calling ~262k to win ~1m. We must have that much equity given that he has some draws and just tp hands.

Raise bigger pre and cbet is mandatory here (we are never raise folding so we can). Probably can shove flop if we raise bigger pre.

If we can not fold then why we bet?
