Hi guys. Would appreciate some thoughts on this one. The fact that this is a late stage of a microstakes MTT I understand that we can play it safe, because there will be descent ammount of other possibilities to take someones stack, yet I do not agree with myself completely on decision I made. Looking forward to your replies

As a general tip,

if you're going to raise on the river, you need to think of hands that will call you that you beat again the hands that call and you lose too. Also take into account the hands that we lose to that fold.

Hands that I think call that we beat are sets only, I for sure would not be calling 2 pair if you raise river, so with that in mind I think a call is best here. We can use our showdown value and bluff catcher.

Maybe the only two pair hand i call is AxQs but that depends on vil.

i think you should bet bigger pre something like 22-27 k, dont like the check because the flop is drawy and u are vs 2 oponents and u cann let someone go on a draw without paying, and u must build a pot. i will bet otf something like 55-75% of the pot.Ott if the bad card hits i will check and revalue river.

I could go a bit bigger pre since you're UTG. And I'm definitely betting the flop with 2 villains and a drawy flop. As played river is a call but I suck at river betting.

Bet 35k on flop. Your range crushes the flop, you don't give away too much information with a cbet. Checking this on a semi wet board against two people is not ideal. As played is a call on the river. He will never fold a flush and could possibly fold some random two pair.

would it be bad to bet 30-35% pot otf, check back the turn so we keep draws and Qx on his range and value the river with 35-40% of the pot

Thanks so much for your replies guys. I have much clearer view on my mistakes now.
That villain was fishy and had a ridiculously wide range. He was also rly aggressive. Previously he betted a lot with air against me, this is why I decided to go for a check on the flop. But I didnt take the other guy into account, so that obviously was a mistake right here. I pushed river, because this was my plan for hand against that aggro dude. He would never lay down any 2 pairs in that spot, because he would be on the higher part of his range with any 2 pairs. Yet this is also not a good line for one fact - he covers us and this is for our tournament life. Thanks again dudes

I would bet what I would normally bet in a spot like that, and I basically never bet 30-35% pot. I might lose value sometimes but my philosophy is to give away as little info as possible with bet sizing and the best way to do that is to keep your bet sizing fairly consistent. The reality is on that flop anyone who would call 1/3 pot will likely call a 1/2 pot (drawing), and anyone who would fold to a 1/2 pot will likely also fold to the 1/3 pot. So I'd probably bet just under 1/2 pot.

On the turn it depends who sticks around. Since hero checked the flop we don't know how the action would have changed with a bet.
