$5 rebuy 99 late stages

12 handed, villian is chipleader although has been playing fairly abc. my image is solid TAG. What is optimal line to take here? are we jamming pre? 3betting or flatting?

What are the payouts like? He's the only guy who has you covered right now so for me it depends on how steep the payout structure is.

Also has he been stealing often from the button or smallblind? Would he try to pick up the BB and antes with rags here? This might be the soft play here but I think I just call (unless he has been stealing often) and see a flop.

You guys are aware a bigstack guy will just call your 3bet OOP, right? Then flop comes AKT he leads and then what?

    I think I just call.

Don't ever flat. Doubt villain ever flats if he's competent. I'd 3b small to try and lvl him.

obv everytime the flop is three overs and he will lead

very trivial 3b/c pre with these positions and your hand strength. any sizing i saw so far posted ITT is good. if you have reads that he flats alot you can make it bigger, like 55k. in general you do better with ~2.2-2,5x 3bets to induce 4bets

gl him playing oop in a 3b pot with the worst hand.

With 28BBs 99 is huuuuge BvsB so I'm hoping to get this in anyway we can. I think if we just jam though we only get called by fairly strong hands whereas by raising we can get him to spas with a weaker hand. On the flip side, shoving looks weaker than 3b smallish pre so that could be an option too, although for 28BBs that seems overkill. You're in position so I prefer a 3b smallish/call if he jams. I make it about 50K.

Just an example how ackward this can be if you don't think it through. Btw, if he 4bet shoves I'm not really fistpump calling to be honest. It's a high variance spot and most of the time i think we flip here or awfully dominated of course :-P In fields where we have no edge I don't care, but really 27 bb with mostly spewtards I don't like to flip.
I could be very wrong here btw. Just berate me or anything.

Apologies for my lack of reading skills, and thank you for pointing out that the player who paid the bigger of the two blinds has position on the player who paid the smaller of the two blinds.

Thought it was pretty obvious I was talking about villian being oop in a 3b pot with the worst hand but apparently not.
