$5: KJo w/ TP Facing Overbet AI DonkBet
Some big field $5 guaranteed on stars...Only 11 hands on villain, so almost not worth mentioning any hud reads. Donk bets I think I play suboptimally against, idk. How do you guys typically range villains in these situations (mostly depending on bet size I assume)? I'll be posting another couple:
Poker Stars, $5 Buy-in (3,500/7,000 blinds, 700 ante) No Limit Hold'em Tournament, 8 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite. View Hand #13367002
MP2: 332,012 (47.4 bb)
Hero (MP3): 169,378 (24.2 bb)
CO: 366,801 (52.4 bb)
BTN: 52,542 (7.5 bb)
SB: 283,044 (40.4 bb)
BB: 205,851 (29.4 bb)
UTG+2: 131,541 (18.8 bb)
MP1: 111,668 (16 bb)
Preflop: Hero is MP3 with J K
3 folds, Hero raises to 17,000, 3 folds, BB calls 10,000
Flop: (43,100) 4 T K (2 players)
BB bets 188,151 and is all-in, Hero calls 151,678 and is all-in

it's hard to have something worse than you. His value range is KT,KQ,FDs,SDs (can someone stove it?) He shouldn't really have a very big bluffing range here.

Really looks like a flush draw though.
I think AsTs is in his range too.

Thx, but how do u range this readless? Does anyone really have enough of a sample size of showdowns to show conclusively what "this" is?

I don't really range it but I am not in the business of folding TPGK for one bet otf with 24BB. plus I think if he had better than top pair he'd wanna tarp you and will very often play it slower. Every once in a while you get a retard who balances here and flips over 2 pair but it's rare imo.

its hard to range it exactly since we dont play this way. but mostly its a draw or worse made hand that hit the board.
you can play around with stove and create different ranges, mostly you beat him by miles, so its not worth thinking about a exact range

Re: $5: KJo w/ TP Facing Overbet AI DonkBet
OK fair enough, thx for the input guys. Guess I've been running bad in these showdowns and I've been wondering if I'm ranging them to loose and calling or ranging them too tight and folding (facing a PSB+).
We fold this vs a nit over a good sample?

Re: $5: KJo w/ TP Facing Overbet AI DonkBet
At these stack sizes, my opinion is it's a snap fold for me..
What is top pair decent kicker really beating? his flatting range is definately containing:
KQ - KT - 44 - TT
Didn't think he'd flat AK in the BB from a late open (fish gonna fish)..
The dynamic of villian snap jamming the flop to basically end his tournament (left with 5bb if he loses) should tell you to fold.... You are only really beating a bluff and not the time to be a hero...
Congrats on hitting the jack on the turn or river or runner straight..
