We are on 4handed on the last 13 players.

Open was a 24/24/44 (VPIP/PFR/R1st) with 21 hands. The reshove was from a 32/33/55 with a 7% 3bet with 55 hands.

Against this kind of a re-shove, do you call/fold every day??? What do you think?

[converted_hand][hand_history]Party, $4.55 Buy-in (600/1,200 blinds, 125 ante) No Limit Hold'em Tournament, 4 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite. View Hand #29041361

SB: 55,721 (46.4 bb)
CO: 25,475 (21.2 bb)
Hero (BB): 53,252 (44.4 bb)
BTN: 10,439 (8.7 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with J J
CO raises to 2,400, BTN folds, SB raises to 55,596 and is all-in, Hero ???

Even tough the other replies say it's an easy call, for me it's not that easy. The re-shover seems to be quite loose agressive but for me this big 44BB openshove smells like something really strong.
Unless you know that Villain is a real fish/donk who tends to 3bet-shove a lot of hands with 40BB+ this calls seems quite hard for me.
If I characterize Villains as "regular" or somewhat "solid" I would say that his range in this spot is quite strong; something like AK/AQs and TT+ maybe even JJ+.
Also if I see the hand from CO view: He has 21BB left so I don't really think that he'll be openraising that much of crap. Of course he has some more marginal holdings in his range but if SB is a thinking player he also knows that and this just underlines my opinion that he has a real strong holding here against which you flip most of times or even are dominated (QQ+).

Maybe I am leveling here a bit to much but I think the fold is denitely reasonable here as you got no real clue of Villains 3bet-shoving range. Personally I don't know if I ever could lay this type of hand down in this spot but thinking a bit about it the fold is very acceptable, too.

I don't think I'm folding this unless I knew V had a tight 3-bet shoving range.

when sb 3-bet shoves here , it seems like they'll do with hands that don't want to see a flop with prolly pairs like 66+ and AQs+.

@ birdrail , I also agree with what you have said above , you have to consider your opponents tendencies/dynamics/hand ranges all into account.

When SB shoves though , it's rather unlikely they 3-bet shove with QQ+ , they'll either 3-bet or flat if anything.

they could quite possibly shove here though with 88+ and AQs+ which we are ahead off.

Depends on the payouts, but given a relatively tight shoving range of 88+,ATs+,KJs+,AQo+ you still have 54% equity. Hence only if ICM matters can this be a fold. Please note that SB is largely shoving against CO who has a smaller effective stack.

Call. We see much more medium to semistrong holdinds than blade here. Villain is most likely isoing vs shortie and somehow didn't want to make a standard 3b which would have been a lot better play.

Cheers for that!

This is an easy call.

As for the CO , it really depends on how tight you think he's opening, likely to be a open raise with a wider range from LP though. When sb shoves, i'd say AJs+ 88+ , maybe wider.
