5.5$ 1k cap - how do I get most value?

I only have 5 hands on villain, got a note written down to my session-file that says "saw me stealing lots from LP", lol guess I just opened the last 2-3 hands.

Should we just flat and ship over the probable cbet?

Re: 5.5$ 1k cap - how do I get most value?

I think a small 4 bet would be a not so bad play in this spot, as this give the opportunity for the villain to make a mistake and go all-in or call with worse hands. At these stakes a call would not be surprising. However he may fold to a C-bet. I think you can justify a call, shove or small re-raise though if no notes on the guy I think you should definitely re raise it.

why do you like jamming better than 4betting small?

well, even a fish smells a monster if you 4b small with 25bb and commit ~50% of your stack.

but do you think he's more likely to fold to a shove than to a small 4bet?

They'll be pretty much the same but he might hero fold some hands that he was planning on calling a jam with because we obv have the blade.

I'd flat a lot

This. I'd say with AA it's a much better hand to flat with but with KK prob Jam>flat >>cib4b because of the ace magnet thing.

but tbh it doesn't seem that you have much of a read that he's 3betting light so I think just jam KK/AA. flatting and c/shoving flops doesn't always maximize your value. you're going to miss some serious value vs the top part of his range (e.g. if he has TT and an overcard hits the flop) so he better be 3 betting you light often enough in this spot to justify the flat. I wouldn't do it just because you were opening light. Very often villains won't adjust correctly at these stakes.

Normally I'd agree with jamming, but OP's reads probably make his range weak enough for me to very marginally prefer flatting.

Re: 5.5$ 1k cap - how do I get most value?

If u have been raising the last 3-4 hands then the raise is fine...but dont think 4 bet small will work. 4 bet shove is the best option.

I would love to open shove this in a low limit...gets more hero calls when u do it from LP...but i think ur M is abt 10 and shoving is ideal here at probably 7-8..

So raise pre...and 4 bet shove
