Are we ever not jamming here due to our stack size relative to the shorter stacks?

$5.50 Buy-in (2400/4800 blinds, 600 ante) No Limit Hold'em Tournament, 6 Players

MP2: 133,111 (27.7 bb)
MP3: 59,379 (12.4 bb)
Hero (CO): 95,464 (19.9 bb)
BTN: 86,204 (17.9 bb)
SB: 54,183 (11.3 bb)
BB: 132,659 (27.6 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 4 4
2 folds, Hero raises to 94,864 and is all-in

Could be a good spot to raise-fold against everyone except SB actually. I'm not sure if jamming is +EV cos of the ICM.

I would definitely pick the less-variance option here and decide to min raise with intention of folding to BTN/BB and calling SB.This is +cEV but taking that it's FT, shoving 44 20bb deep is strongly -$EV.

I don't like shoving 20BB when the big stack is still to act. I would min open and call vs SB, fold vs BTN and BB shove.

Raise / call the sb has to be at best razor thin when losing puts us last. Since we unblock a lot of the re ship range of remaining players and we can be owned pretty hard post if flatted, makes me just want to fold pre tbh

I really did want to just fold this pre, but it felt too nitty and I didn't like raise/fold either cause of bad postflop playability like you guys mentioned. Went with the jam, but regretted it after.

Thanks for the comments.

I think folding is too nitty, you have to be willing to steal blinds/antes when you're at this stack size, you don't get dealt premium hands often enough.

For people saying raise/fold is bad, what is your opening range here? I think it is too nitty given we need to be stealing pots.

youre in a chip position where you shouldn't be pressured to steal too much. We want to 3b shipping more with effective stacks and opening very tight. If stealing is the play then you're better off raising low suited face cards and any any ax to at least have some blockers to 3b ship range of villains
