Blinds are 125k/250k
Stack sizes:
CO : 2,818,058
BU: 6,561,102
Hero (sb): 1,937,440
BB: All in with Ante
So obviously ICM implications are massive here and BU can shove (almost) anything. I'd seen him shove 10-2o last hand so I knew his range was ATC.
CO folds, bu shoves. I have kqs in the small blind. I decide to call because:
1. payouts are much bigger for 1st/second
2. kqs is pretty crushing against atc
3. The only way I bust in 4th is if bb's ATC beats me and BB, and I lose to bu
What do you guys think? Do I need to take the essentially guaranteed $200 and fold? If its a fold, what can I call with? If not, how light can I call?
Not sure how to calculate this but my guess is that we can only call much tighter - something like JJ+ and no unpaired hands. KQs is only 63% against atc
I ran this through ICMizer and it came up with a range of 77+,A9s+,ATo+,KJs+
assuming BTN is shoving 75% - so KQs is a fairly tight call - KQo a marginal fold.
So I was off beam but maybe its not as clear a call as people are saying
