$4 4 Max FT HU

Reads on villian: Good reg, pretty aggro, 26% 3 bet.

We had been been clashing a fair bit, 3 betting and 4 betting a decent amount when play was 3 handed. Had been playing hu for only about 10 or so hands. He probably views me as a very aggro reg, as I 4 bet shoved with a8 only to walk into his 88 and bink an ace lol.....and I earlier 5 bet shoved a double gutter into his overpair (yes, very spewy.....).

I'm guessing its probably a fold as played but I am pretty certain that he is more than capable of doing this with hands like qk, jk and a whole bunch of other connectors with decent equity given my image and the dynamic of the match.

With a hand that is pretty strong but not THAT strong would you guys prefer to 4 bet jam in this spot with the ace blocker and how often he is 3 betting us ultra light here?

4b/f A9o would be bad here.

Pretty std if you called imo - just a cooler if hes got something > A9

I hate the size of your 4bet. If he calls 122k, pot of 250 and stack of 360...what are your plans for the flop?

And unless he's HotKarl his 5 betting range is likely not worse than A9o, but only you would have a decent idea of HU range/dynamic.

Ok thanks, was just curious as raise calling all in with a9 seems a bit spewy at first glance. With regards to the 5 bet sizing, I was pretty certain that he would not flat it, but maybe its just better to shove here still.
