Hero landed at a new table. Has a small sample size history on Villain (55hands) from previous table on same tourney. Villain also appeared to be better than the average player on these stakes.

Hero has been pretty agressive Postflop, mixing his bet size, got couple showdowns against Villain and showed for exemple 2 pairs going to the muck facing agression on a flushy board.
Hero is 34/25/8 (VP/PF/3betPreflop)
Villain is 31/20/6 with 86% Cbet Flop, 67% Cbet Turn, 0% call OoP on the turn

Context :

Preflop, I went for a call with AJo, as the BB was pretty short and wasn't really thrilled to call his squeeze. Villain, by opening UTG (even though that is a min-raise) has a "relatively" tight range. I thought he might try to induce a shove from the Big Blind. So getting 3 ways with AJo or folding to a 4bet shove from UTG wasn't the ideal situation

After reviewing the hand, I find my call OTF too loose. Even though he gave me pretty good pot odds on a dry flop, I don't have a lot to improve. My thoughts during the hand was that he would Cbet 100% of those types of flop considering he was the Preflop Aggressor and his CbetFlop was so high.
I basically went for a float, hoping that he would give up OTT and then, take it down.

My problem with the turn is my awkward stack size : I'd like a larger 3bet than this close to min reraise (like 26k) but i was committing a large portion of my stack. The 3bet size is bad IMO. Maybe a shove ?

3b pre makes the hand easier to play in general.

3bet pre, fold turn

while I agree it's a 3bet pre, is it a 3 bet/fold or 3/bet GII?

As played, I hate flatting here OOP and fold turn. The problem with c/r is you're only getting called by a better hand. We have a blocker to AA and JJ so a Q is definitely in villains range. Also when the second queen does hit then it will be hard to make them fold hands such as KK or 1010

Do you think he's shoving wider than AJ?

Our line is tremendaspew - this is a dry board and a pretty bad card for him to barrel as a bluff.

Like I guess we haz blockers and stuff, but still no.

I would x flop. You dont get him to fold any better hand by betting and spr gets awkward on turn, not many turn cards you can continue on

Yes I was kinda worried about the fact that they don't really fold + add to that, spr is indeed weird, my bluff isn't really good, I admit.
I did think, during the action, that he could definitely fold his A high, 7X and PP like JJ or TT as he was actually decent.
But yea, my line was too spewy there
