This is the main one I am wanting feedback on. Theres no massive stacks behind getting out of hand and I don't think I am getting reshoved on by less than AJ / prob any pair, seems like a real good spot to steal?

Absolutely std. Anything other than cramming would be bad.

After his shove, yes. But I don't like the open from UTG +1

I fold first hand pretty easily. 2nd is a shove all the time.

I think you have your posed questions backwards.

The second is standard, but the first is questionable calling with an easily dominated hand.

It is not a crime to fold KQs UTG with the amount of donk over-shoves from the MP&LP. Against a thinking field or maybe even deeper stacked different story, but generally not seeing that in low stakes MTT.

I call the 1st hand.

You need 36.77% equity to call.

I used the formula C/(C+P) to solve for the % equity you needed to call profitably.
C = Amount to Call
P = Pot (Add the antes, blinds, your open, and the villains shove)
(3142)/(3142+5402)

With KQs, vs a range of 22+,A8s+,A5s-A2s,KJs+,A7o+,KJo+, we have 44.393%

I didn't include a lot of suited connectors or pure Kx trash hands that I see people shove over raises with 10bb stacks all the time.. I didn't add QJ or QT/KT either.. I see people shove some of those hands.

I think it's an easy call now looking at it. If I change the range to something tighter like.. 99+,ATs+,KQ+, we have 38.26% equity against that hand range. It's still a call.

2nd hand is a snap shove.

im not sure about the first one... do you really think a 3 bet shove from mp is ever going to be that light? i really think the range above me is wayyyyy too wide. that would be a range i would give someone shoving that stack from the blinds, but i feel that shoving 13 bbs from mp over a utg raise is almost always going to be a premium hand, considering all the people left behind to act. Am I completely wrong on this? I would raise/fold that hand

it would be a snapcall if villain was in the blinds and we were button or CO

i think this is a fold though

he would have to be shoving pretty wide to make this +ev enough for me to go for, especially when he is shoving with very little FE vs an UTG+1 raising range

not sure about the maths though

1st one: what range are you putting him on? You need 36.78% to break even. He needs to be shoving 7%+ (88+,ATs+,KTs+,AQ+) for this to be profitable (38.186%). You're raising from UTG, which should look strong and then villain is shoving over this, which is really strong. I think we can take out the weaker Kx hands in the range above and go with 88+,AJs+,AQ+ (5.9%) which we have 35.169% making this a fold.

2nd hand: If we set a calling range of 8.7% (55+,A9s,AJ+) then this is a definite shove (yields NET EV of 631 chips or 1.5BBs, which is massive!). If we set a slightly looser calling range of 22+,A8s+,A9+KQ+ (13.4%) then it's still a clear shove, this time yielding a NET EV of 726 chips, almost 2BBs!!!
