Standard or not? Villain had lost a big pot a couple hands before. Before that, he seemed competent and had shoved various times to put other people at risk, so safe to assume he shoves somewhat close to nash. 10th pays 40$ and there's 500$ up top.

KJo is only flipping with even a 30% range Given ICM this is a clear fold.

Yes, put it in Pokerstove and indeed seems a clear fold. Making a mistake like that feels worse than getting a bad beat late stage.

    easy fold.

Vil is first to act so it isn't going to be as wide as you imagine and you do not have the stack to take these flips when we're close to the big money.

Why does it matter that he is first to act? Should not mater, he should just shove cutoff range, if not a little wider because the blinds will hit him next, right?

most people to act after vil so he should be conscious about this factor. Also with u and sb being short too and usually a pay jump for ft bubble makes me think that vil won't be as crazy as you're ranging him, which you must put vil on a super wide range if you're calling KJos here. Potential shorties on the other table can impact vils decision too

I thought you meant it mattered being first to act here as opposed to in hijack on 9-max. I already gave him a range of first to act here, however I was indeed wrong in my call.
